About ValleyCraft
ValleyCraft centers Minecraft survival on building a lasting base or town alongside a small community. Towny, Jobs, mcMMO, ranks, economy features, custom rewards, and recurring events add long-term goals, while players can also ignore the extra systems and simply explore, build, and develop their own space.
What Makes It Different
ValleyCraft combines a persistent Towny world with optional progression layers instead of forcing every player into the same grind. Players can form towns and join community projects, but the server also supports a quieter survival style with protected builds, no uninvited PvP, and no planned world resets.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Town creation, settlement development, protected land, and shared community projects are central to the server.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
mcMMO skills provide a major progression layer and support recurring monthly competitions.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Jobs give players defined ways to earn money through recurring activities and specialize their progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The core experience involves gathering resources, building bases, exploring, crafting, and progressing through ordinary Minecraft survival.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The server is explicitly promoted as no-reset, preserving player bases, towns, projects, and progression over time.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Custom currency, shops, Jobs, and money-based progression make earning and spending central supporting systems.
Players gather resources, establish bases, and develop towns through Towny. Jobs, skills, ranks, economy systems, parkour, and other server features provide additional activities, while random teleporting and protected storage make it practical to find a place to settle.
Progression comes from several overlapping systems. Players can earn money through Jobs and other activities, improve mcMMO skills, advance through in-game ranks, expand towns, and unlock extra rewards such as fly time, custom bottles, and seasonal items.
Custom content includes server-specific items and textures, The Collector mob-hunting system, upgradeable Custom Bottle tiers, chat games, seasonal gear, furniture, and cosmetic rewards. These additions sit alongside ordinary survival rather than replacing it with a separate modpack.
The world is intended to remain in place rather than rotate through regular seasons or resets. Players can use random teleporting to find a starting area, build independently, or join towns and larger community projects.
ValleyCraft is not built around open PvP. Uninvited PvP is not allowed, making the server better suited to cooperative survival, town building, and community projects than unrestricted combat or raiding.
The server uses an in-game economy with Jobs, custom currency, shops, and progression tied to earning and spending money. Players can specialize in resource gathering or other activities, then use their earnings to support towns and unlock improvements.
Recurring activities include monthly mcMMO competitions, fishing competitions, chat games, and seasonal events such as themed build competitions. Event rewards can include custom items, furniture, cosmetics, and other limited rewards.
ValleyCraft is aimed at a small, friendly community where players can join towns and shared builds or play independently. The extra progression systems are optional, so players can focus on social projects, survival building, or personal bases without competing in every activity.
Griefing and uninvited PvP are not allowed. Chests are locked, KeepInventory is enabled, and players can settle without being forced into combat. Town and storage protections are central to the server's cooperative survival style.
ValleyCraft uses a no-pay-to-win model. Paid support and seasonal rewards are kept separate from the main survival progression rather than giving supporters decisive combat or resource advantages.
Optional progression lets players engage with additional advancement systems without requiring them to follow every available grind or objective.
Players may ignore Jobs, mcMMO, ranks, economy goals, and custom rewards while focusing on ordinary survival, building, or community projects.
Rules that limit when, where, or how player combat may occur to protect specific areas or prevent abusive encounters.
Uninvited PvP is prohibited, allowing players to settle, build, and cooperate without being exposed to unrestricted attacks.
Custom bottle tiers organize server-created bottle items into upgrade levels with changing uses, effects, or progression value.
Players can work through upgradeable Custom Bottle tiers, making these server-specific items part of ValleyCraft's additional reward progression.
Locked chests restrict access to stored items, allowing players to protect personal or shared storage from unauthorized interaction.
Locked chests protect stored items, complementing Towny protections and the server's cooperative, no-griefing survival rules.
Mob-hunting systems give players structured goals or rewards for locating and defeating particular Minecraft creatures.
The Collector provides a dedicated mob-hunting progression activity alongside Jobs, mcMMO, ranks, and the economy.
KeepInventory preserves a player's carried items after death, reducing the normal survival penalty of losing equipment and resources.
KeepInventory is enabled, so players retain carried items after death rather than recovering dropped inventories.
In-game shops provide places or interfaces where players buy, sell, or exchange resources using server-defined prices or currencies.
The economy includes shops alongside custom currency, letting players buy or sell resources as part of earning and spending money.
Seasonal rewards provide time-limited incentives tied to recurring periods, activities, challenges, or special server content.
Seasonal events can award custom items, furniture, cosmetics, seasonal gear, and other limited rewards.
Furniture adds decorative objects that players use to furnish interiors, homes, shops, or other built spaces.
Custom furniture appears among the server's items and event rewards, giving players decorative options for personal bases, towns, and shared builds.
Random teleportation moves players to a randomly selected location, helping them reach unexplored areas without choosing exact coordinates.
Random teleporting helps players locate a starting area or new settlement space without requiring a long manual search through the world.
Rank progression lets players advance through server ranks that provide recognition, access, or other gameplay and community benefits.
Players can advance through in-game ranks as one of several optional progression paths alongside Jobs, mcMMO skills, town development, and economy.
mcMMO competitions compare players' skill advancement or activity performance, often over a defined period with prizes or recognition.
Monthly mcMMO competitions give skill-focused players recurring contests within the server's wider optional progression.
Fishing competitions are organized contests where players earn points or rewards by achieving results through fishing.
Recurring fishing competitions are part of the event schedule, adding a focused contest alongside the server's broader survival activities.
Fly time grants temporary or unlockable access to player flight, changing how players travel, build, or navigate the world.
Fly time is listed among extra rewards that players can unlock through ValleyCraft's progression systems.
Build competitions are organized contests where players create structures or scenes and are compared through judging, voting, or achievement criteria.
The server runs themed build competitions as seasonal activities, giving builders a competitive project beyond ordinary settlement construction.
