About CubedMC
CubedMC is built for players who want a lasting place to settle rather than a world that disappears every season. Build in the protected main world, join or create a Towny town, earn money through jobs and shops, and use separate resource worlds for gathering.
What Makes It Different
CubedMC separates a permanent main world from monthly resource worlds. Towns, builds, and map art can remain in place for years while players still receive fresh areas for routine resource gathering.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Town creation, land claims, nations, resident permissions, and settlement management are central to play.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Jobs are the primary money source and provide activity-based leveling through work such as mining and woodcutting.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Survival danger comes from hostile mobs and exploration because player-versus-player combat is disabled.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, craft equipment, explore dimensions, build bases, and develop long-term settlements.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main world preserves towns, builds, and landmarks instead of undergoing periodic resets.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, server shops, chest shops, player listings, money, and player warps create a substantial economy.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Towny claims and permission controls protect settlements, containers, and player-built property.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
MCMMO adds fifteen trainable skills, active abilities, parties, and party perks to ordinary survival play.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
PlayerShop listings and chest shops let residents sell resources and operate player-run storefronts.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is a shared multiplayer survival world focused on cooperative settlement, community projects, and individual bases.
This is relaxed PvE survival with Towny claiming and a strict no-griefing, no-stealing rule. Players can use /rtp to find a starting area, protect containers, create or join towns, set homes, use player warps, and explore separate main, Nether, End, resource, and map-art worlds. PvP is disabled, so danger comes from hostile mobs, exploration, and the normal survival environment rather than other players.
Jobs provide the main source of in-game money and level up through repeated activities such as mining or woodcutting. Free ranks add commands and conveniences, while MCMMO skills improve through normal play and unlock active abilities. Voting also provides keys and vote points, and reaching the Citizen rank allows a player to create a free Towny town.
Server-specific systems include Towny, MCMMO, jobs, free ranks, player warps, marriage features, mob snares, map-art rules, keep-inventory controls, and percentage-based sleeping. Players can also use cosmetic features such as pets, trails, disguises, glows, nicknames, and sitting or crawling animations through ranks or commands.
The main world is intended to preserve player settlements and large builds. Resource worlds for the Overworld, Nether, and End refresh around the first of each month, while a separate map-art world gives builders a dedicated place for large-scale decorative work.
PvP is disabled entirely. Player traps and intentional attempts to kill other players are prohibited, making Towny protection and community rules more important than combat gear.
Players earn money through jobs, selling eligible items to the server shop, and trading with other players. CubedMC supports a server shop, PlayerShop listings, chest shops, and player warps that help residents run storefronts and connect buyers with towns or builds.
Discord functions as the server's main off-server community space for support tickets, questions, build sharing, artwork, and town recruitment. Towns and nations give players a way to organize long-term settlements, while town leadership rules cover inactivity, recruitment, taxes, and ownership disputes.
The main rules prohibit griefing, stealing, moving into another player's private area without permission, player traps, scamming, inappropriate content, excessive farm or redstone load, and advertising other servers. Global chat is English-only, alternate accounts are limited, and Towny leaders must follow notice and property rules when removing inactive residents.
The store sells donor ranks with commands, extra homes, backpacks, trails, kits, and other perks. The server wiki says donor perks can also be unlocked by non-donor players, while store purchases are presented as financial support for the server.
No-PvP rules prevent ordinary player-versus-player damage in designated gameplay areas, emphasizing cooperation over combat between players.
PvP is disabled entirely, and player traps or intentional attempts to kill others are prohibited under the server rules.
Separate resource areas periodically regenerate so players can continue gathering fresh materials without replacing established settlements.
CubedMC refreshes separate Overworld, Nether, and End resource worlds around the first of each month while the main world remains intact.
Player Warps let players create publicly accessible destinations for shops, bases, services, or community locations across the server world.
CubedMC supports player warps that help residents connect buyers with storefronts, towns, and other player-created builds.
A dedicated map-art world provides space for creating large decorative maps without crowding ordinary settlement areas.
CubedMC maintains a separate map-art world for large-scale decorative work alongside its main, resource, Nether, and End worlds.
MCMMO parties organize players into cooperative groups with shared party features and progression-related benefits.
CubedMC's MCMMO implementation includes parties and party perks alongside fifteen trainable skills and active abilities.
History of CubedMC
CubedMC launched in June 2019 with a 40,000 by 40,000 main world. In July 2020, its Nether worlds were updated to newer terrain, followed by main-world expansions in January 2022 and August 2022.
The server has kept its long-term settlement focus while using separate resource worlds to handle routine mining and exploration. The main world remains the place for towns, permanent builds, and community landmarks, while resource dimensions refresh each month.
