About ExodusMC
ExodusMC is a cross-platform network with several progression-heavy realms. Skyblock focuses on island growth, generators, dungeons, pets, bosses, and competition. Gens turns resource production into a race through upgrades, zones, pets, and leaderboards. Prison adds mines, cells, pickaxe upgrades, and rank-based advancement. Survival provides a more traditional place to build and play with others.
The network leans into custom systems rather than simple vanilla play. Seasonal releases bring fresh goals and new content, while teams, events, giveaways, and competitive activities keep the realms busy. A Pet Simulator realm is scheduled to launch on August 29, 2026.
What Makes It Different
ExodusMC combines several different grind-focused realms under one network-wide progression style. Skyblock, Gens, and Prison each use pets, custom upgrades, currencies, events, and seasonal competition in different ways.
Gens servers center on placing generators that produce items or resources for players to collect and use.

Prison servers turn mining into a gated progression ladder: players break blocks in designated mines, sell the resources, and spend their earnings on ranks that unlock more valuable areas.

Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is the network's longest-running and most extensively documented core realm.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
ExoCredits and multiple realm economies are central to progression and store systems.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom enchants, tools, pickaxes, pets, rings, crystals, models, and other special items define the network's gameplay.
Choose a realm from the network and build toward its main goal. Skyblock uses islands, generators, upgrades, dungeons, and bosses. Gens centers on resource production, zones, tools, and island growth. Prison revolves around mining, cells, ranks, and pickaxe progression. Survival offers a more familiar building and exploration format.
Progression is built around custom upgrades instead of vanilla equipment alone. Depending on the realm, players can improve tools, pickaxes, mines, islands, generators, pets, cells, ranks, prestiges, and battle-pass rewards. Seasonal launches create new progression races.
Custom content includes enchants, pets, companions, rings, crystals, pickaxe perks, tool upgrades, bosses, dungeons, battle passes, custom models, spirits, boosters, robots, drills, and specialized reward systems.
The network is split into themed realms rather than one single survival world. Skyblock uses islands and unlockable areas. Gens includes zones and island upgrades. Prison uses mines, private mines, cells, and mine worlds. Pet Simulator is planned around custom mining zones and progression areas.
PvP appears in competitive parts of the network, including KoTHs, outposts, SkyPvP content, tournaments, and realm leaderboards. Combat is one part of the experience rather than the sole focus of every realm.
ExoCredits are a network-wide virtual currency used across the realms. Individual modes also use their own currencies, shops, generators, upgrades, rotating markets, and auction systems. Skyblock includes a custom-currency auction house, while Gens uses generators and upgrade-based production.
The network runs seasonal realm launches, automated events, KoTHs, giveaways, competitions, and leaderboard races. Skyblock seasons can include end-of-map payouts. Pet Simulator Season 1 is scheduled for August 29, 2026.
The community uses Discord for chat, support, giveaways, events, and tickets. Forums provide announcements, suggestions, team recruitment, bug reports, player reports, punishment appeals, and staff applications. English is the primary supported language.
ExodusMC uses global and realm-specific rules. Players have dedicated paths for reporting players, reporting bugs, appealing punishments, and checking the public punishment list.
The store sells ExoCredits, ranks, cosmetics, bundles, keys, lootboxes, upgrades, and realm-specific memberships. ExoClub memberships last 24 days and are available for Skyblock, Gens, and Prison. Store purchases are handled through Tebex and are listed as final under the store's refund policy.

History of ExodusMC
The current ExodusMC network took shape in late 2021 and early 2022. Its community Discord was created on November 26, 2021, and the project entered its public development phase with a Skyblock beta planned for early 2022.
The first major identity was Skyblock. Early promotion described an old-school Skyblock style supported by custom plugins and broad version compatibility. By February 2023, the network had already run ten Skyblock maps and several SkyPvP maps, while Prison and Lifesteal were being considered for expansion.
Skyblock became the network's long-running anchor. Its later seasons added unlockable dungeons, multiple currencies, generators, bosses, pets, custom fishing, island upgrades, custom enchants, events, KoTHs, outposts, and specialized zones. The Abyss realm, introduced in December 2024, refreshed the mode with new mechanics, warps, and progression systems.
Gens and Prison then became regular parts of the network rather than planned additions. Gens developed into a seasonal mode built around generators, zones, tool upgrades, pets, companions, prestige, rotating shops, dungeons, invasions, and leaderboards. Season 24 launched on August 1, 2026.
Prison began its first season on February 28, 2026. Later seasons expanded the mode with private mines, pickaxe crystals and perks, cells, pets, companions, robots, mine bombs, contracts, prestige systems, mine bosses, drills, research, and tournaments. Prison Season 5 launched on August 15, 2026.
By summer 2026, Survival had joined Skyblock, Gens, and Prison as an active realm. The network was also preparing Pet Simulator for August 29, 2026, with custom pets, mining zones, minions, bosses, collections, upgrades, and competitive progression. ExodusMC now functions as a multi-realm network centered on seasonal grinding, custom progression, and cross-platform play.
