About FadeCloud
FadeCloud is a large Minecraft network with several custom game modes. Prison, Gens, Skyblock, Dungeons and Survival each give you a different way to build power and earn rewards.
The server is made for players who enjoy steady progress. You mine, build islands, fight mobs, trade items, unlock upgrades and chase seasonal goals. Java and Bedrock players can play together.
What Makes It Different
FadeCloud blends several long grinding games into one network. You can mine in Prison, grow an island in Skyblock, build production in Gens or explore Dungeons without leaving the same community.
Its modes use layered upgrades instead of stopping at normal Minecraft gear. Ranks, pets, enchants, currencies, passes and leaderboards give regular players long-term goals.
Gens servers center on placing generators that produce items or resources for players to collect and use.
Gens is one of the network's current headline modes and provides tycoon-style production gameplay.
Prison servers turn mining into a gated progression ladder: players break blocks in designated mines, sell the resources, and spend their earnings on ranks that unlock more valuable areas.
Prison is one of FadeCloud's main advertised modes and a major part of its historical identity.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock has been a major FadeCloud mode with repeated seasons, islands, generators and island-value competition.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is included among the network's current headline modes.
Start in the network hub and choose a mode. Prison focuses on mining and rank progress. Skyblock centers on islands, generators and island value. Gens uses production-focused tycoon gameplay. Dungeons and Survival add combat, exploration and broader Minecraft activities.
Progress usually comes from repeated play rather than a single storyline. Rank up, improve tools or pets, unlock enchants, complete challenges and compete on leaderboards. Prison and Skyblock use seasonal formats, so major resets create fresh races for rewards.
Custom content includes enchants, pets, bosses, mine themes, special generators, missions, passes, crate rewards and custom resource-pack elements. These systems change how quickly you earn money, items and upgrades.
The network is divided into separate themed mode worlds rather than one ordinary survival map. Prison mines, Skyblock islands, towns, dungeon areas and custom hubs each serve a different purpose.
PvP is part of the network, especially in Prison and Skyblock. Dedicated arenas and King of the Hill-style contests have been used alongside mining and island progression. The amount of PvP depends on the mode you choose.
FadeCloud uses several mode-specific currencies and progression resources. Clouds are the network's premium currency. Player shops, auction houses, shops and trading systems have been part of its economy-focused modes.
Season launches, voting rewards, King of the Hill contests, build competitions and limited holiday activities have all been part of FadeCloud's event cycle. Voting can provide keys and Clouds.
FadeCloud has a Discord community with support tickets and update channels. Players can use Discord for help with account, gameplay and purchase issues.
FadeCloud uses global rules and separate mode rules, including a dedicated Skyblock ruleset. Players should check the current rules before joining competitive or economy-focused modes.
The official store sells Clouds and other virtual server products. Store purchases are processed through Tebex. Voting also provides in-game rewards, including Clouds and crate keys.

History of FadeCloud
FadeCloud was running by 2014 and grew as a custom Minecraft network rather than a single vanilla survival world. Its early identity centered on enhanced Prison, Skyblock, Factions, Survival and related competitive modes.
By 2015, FadeCloud had become a prominent public Minecraft network. Its gameplay already used paid ranks and server-side progression systems, matching the wider shift toward heavily customized multiplayer networks.
During 2021, the network expanded its seasonal design. Prison received new enchantment, pet, rank and currency systems, while Skyblock continued through frequent season resets. Towny Season 2 added town management, jobs, bosses, player shops and a more open economy.
FadeCloud also introduced a more secure player-shop system in September 2021. It supported several currencies, virtual storage and protected transactions between players.
Late 2021 brought a second Skyblock experience called Skyblock Resurrection. It returned to classic island ideas while adding island value, improved cobblestone generators, McMMO skills, pets, custom enchants, missions and competitive PvP activities.
In 2022, Skyblock Resurrection received a full follow-up season, and Earth SMP launched alongside it. Dungeons then became a new network mode, adding another progression path beyond mining, island building and town management.
Prison continued to evolve through Seasons 26 and 28. Personal upgradeable mines, mine themes, enchant upgrades, battle passes, prestige ranks and an orb-based economy pushed the mode toward faster, more layered progression.
Today, FadeCloud is a crossplay network focused on custom grind-heavy modes. Its identity comes from combining seasonal resets, long-term upgrades, player competition and several connected ways to progress.
