About EcoCityCraft
Money, towns, and player-run shops are the main reasons to log into EcoCityCraft. The main survival world focuses on earning EcoDollars through jobs, quests, gathering, selling, and trade, then turning that wealth into protected land, businesses, upgrades, and larger builds. A separate Vanilla MineRun mode adds a faster weekly competition with rotating item themes and regular resets.
What Makes It Different
The server combines a long-term main economy world with Vanilla MineRun, a separate weekly-reset competition. Players can spend months developing towns, shops, and wealth on the main network, then jump into a themed race where inventories, balances, and the world are reset each week.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Players repeatedly use jobs to earn income, experience, job points, and persistent progression.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Chest shops and other player-run stores are central ways to sell resources and obtain goods.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main Rising world preserves long-term towns, shops, roads, farms, landmarks, and player-built projects.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Player-driven EcoDollars, jobs, shops, banking, trade, and wealth progression form the server's central gameplay loop.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main network uses survival gathering, crafting, building, exploration, resource dimensions, and hostile-mob gameplay.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected plots and town protections control building and interaction rights across the main world.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Players establish towns, recruit members, develop settlements, manage plots, and operate under town-owner responsibilities.
Main-network play follows survival fundamentals, but nearly every activity feeds the economy. Players mine, farm, build, trade, use jobs and quests, open shops, establish towns, protect land, and improve their rank. The network also includes Mining, Nether, and End areas for resource gathering, while Vanilla MineRun provides a more restricted competition built around selling themed items.
Players begin as Builders and advance through server ranks that unlock more jobs, quests, features, and town capacity. Job and quest levels persist, and higher ranks increase the number of activities a player can join. Long-term progress also comes from McMMO levels, prestige goals, magic or Star tools, town development, wealth, and player-owned businesses.
EcoCityCraft adds jobs, quests, McMMO, custom ranks, prestige goals, town protections, chest shops, magic and Star tools, player features, cosmetics, and banking around the survival base. Vanilla MineRun is a distinct server mode with themed sales, weekly rankings, booklet objectives, and limited departures from standard vanilla mechanics.
The main Rising world is designed for long-term building and keeps player towns, shops, roads, farms, and landmarks available over time. Separate Mining, Nether, and End areas provide renewable resource access, while the Archive preserves older EcoCityCraft worlds and past eras.
PvP is present but not the main focus. The main network is largely protected, with combat allowed in designated PvP areas and in VMR. Players looking for open-world raiding or constant faction warfare will find a more controlled combat environment here.
EcoDollars drive the server. Players earn through jobs, quests, selling resources, player shops, trade, and other server activities, then spend their money on land, towns, materials, upgrades, services, and items sold by other players. Banking, chest shops, auctions, and a player-run market make trading and pricing central to progression.
VMR runs as a recurring weekly competition with changing themes, rankings, prizes, and rare-item challenges. The community also hosts server competitions and special activities through the forums and Discord, including building and arena-style events.
The community is organized through the in-game network, forums, Discord, player shops, towns, classifieds, contracts, and competition sections. Long-term players commonly build businesses, recruit town members, trade services, and help newer players learn the economy.
Players are expected to treat others respectfully, keep chat family-friendly, avoid cheating, and use English in specified public channels. Griefing, scamming, unauthorized PvP outside allowed areas, abusing alternate accounts or bugs, and trading in-game assets for real money are prohibited. Town owners also have additional notice and eviction responsibilities.
The server is free to join with Minecraft Java or Bedrock. Optional purchases include ranks, feature packages, boosts, crates, pets, cosmetics, forum upgrades, and other supporter items. These purchases are not required to enter the server or participate in its economy.
Vanilla MineRun is a recurring vanilla-survival competition built around themed collection, sales, rankings, and objective-based progression.
EcoCityCraft's separate VMR mode resets weekly and combines themed item sales, rankings, prizes, booklet objectives, and prestige goals.
A themed sales challenge asks players to collect designated items and sell them according to changing objectives or market rules.
VMR rotates item themes, with players collecting and selling matching items for rankings, prizes, and prestige goals.
A weekly reset cycle returns a mode, world, or player progression to a fresh state on a regular schedule.
Vanilla MineRun resets its world, inventories, balances, and player data each week.
Chest shops let players create self-service storefronts where stored items are exchanged with other players under posted prices or trade rules.
Chest shops are a major player-market option for selling resources and purchasing goods throughout the persistent economy.
Server ranks provide status-based progression, often granting players additional permissions, recognition, or gameplay-related benefits.
Players begin as Builders and advance through ranks that unlock jobs, quests, features, and greater town capacity.
A persistent financial storage or account system that lets players manage accumulated in-game wealth separately from ordinary spending.
EcoCityCraft includes banking as part of its EcoDollar economy, alongside shops, auctions, and player-run market activity.
Resource worlds are designated dimensions or maps intended for renewable gathering while helping preserve another world for construction.
Mining, Nether, and End areas provide resource access while the main Rising world remains focused on persistent builds and towns.
Designated PvP areas confine player combat to specific locations or modes while other regions remain protected from ordinary fighting.
Combat is allowed in designated PvP areas and Vanilla MineRun, while the main network is largely protected.
A world archive preserves older Minecraft worlds or historical versions so players can revisit past builds and eras.
EcoCityCraft's Archive preserves older worlds and past eras alongside the current long-term main world.
Prestige goals provide optional long-term objectives that extend progression alongside or beyond ordinary levels and milestones.
Players pursue prestige goals through McMMO progression and Vanilla MineRun, adding longer-term targets beyond routine levels.
Auction systems let players list items for competitive purchase, browse offers, and acquire goods through time-limited or public sales.
Auctions complement chest shops, banking, and player-run markets as another way for players to buy and sell items.
Recurring leaderboards that compare players or teams across tracked activities and award recognition or rewards.
Vanilla MineRun uses weekly rankings to compare participants' themed-item performance and determine competitive results.
