About CrypticMC
CrypticMC makes survival consequential: the world never resets, there are no land claims or rollbacks, and griefing is allowed. It is a long-term, semi-vanilla world for players who want to build, explore, and make their own arrangements across a persistent map, with Java and Bedrock crossplay, proximity voice chat, and a compact set of travel and communication commands.
What Makes It Different
CrypticMC removes the usual safety net of protected survival servers. A build cannot rely on a land-claim system or staff rollback, so where players build, what they store, and who they trust matter over the life of one persistent world.
Proximity voice chat lets Minecraft players speak through audio that becomes quieter or inaudible as their in-game characters move apart.
Proximity voice chat is explicitly advertised as part of the server experience.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Gameplay remains close to ordinary Minecraft survival, with a limited convenience layer of homes, teleport requests, messaging, mail, and voice chat.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The server explicitly states that its current world never resets and that player changes remain part of the long-term map.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
CrypticMC centers on conventional resource gathering, crafting, building, exploration, and survival in a shared world.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
No land claims, no rollbacks, and explicitly permitted griefing leave protection and conflict largely to player choices.
The server keeps its gameplay close to conventional Minecraft survival while adding a few practical conveniences. Players can set homes, teleport through player requests with /tpa, communicate through private messages and server mail, and use proximity voice chat while gathering resources, building, exploring, and dealing with an unprotected world.
Progression is player-directed and tied to the persistent world rather than seasonal resets. Long-term goals come from the bases, resources, routes, discoveries, and relationships players establish over time, with /home, /tpa, and voting for an extra home reducing some of the friction of a large survival map.
The confirmed custom layer is lightweight and convenience-focused. CrypticMC provides Java and Bedrock crossplay, proximity voice chat, homes, player teleport requests, private messaging, inter-player mail, and voting rewards. The official command list includes /sethome, /home, /delhome, /tpa, /tpahere, /tpaccept, /tpdeny, /tpacancel, /mail, /msg, /kill, and /vote.
The current world started on August 8, 2025, and is designed not to reset. There is no published live map, downloadable map, seed, or world-border information. The important map rule is permanence: changes remain part of the same long-term survival world rather than being cleared for seasonal releases.
Griefing is allowed, while no global PvP, war, or faction system is advertised. Bases and storage should therefore be treated as vulnerable to destruction, but the griefing policy should not be read as proof that every combat tactic or exploit is permitted.
CrypticMC connects its player community through an official Discord and proximity voice chat in-game. Its format suits a smaller group of players sharing one persistent world rather than a large network built around crowded minigame lobbies.
The central survival rules are simple and consequential: the world does not reset, land claims are not provided, rollbacks are not provided, and griefing is allowed. Players should protect important resources through their own building choices, storage decisions, and social arrangements. The server advertises Java 1.21 or newer alongside Bedrock access.
Voting 10 times per month grants one additional home. CrypticMC also links an official store for server purchases.
A no-claims survival world leaves players responsible for choosing locations, hiding valuables, and defending their own builds.
CrypticMC provides no land-claim system, so bases, farms, storage, and other builds are not protected by claimed-area permissions.
Griefing-allowed servers permit players to damage or alter other players’ unprotected builds, making security and location choices strategically important.
CrypticMC explicitly allows griefing in its unprotected persistent world, making destruction of bases and storage a stated survival risk.
A world policy where player-caused destruction and other changes are not automatically restored after raids, griefing, or incidents.
CrypticMC advertises no rollbacks, so damage or unwanted changes to the long-running world should not be expected to receive staff restoration.
Home teleport commands let players mark personal locations and return to established bases or safe points.
Players can use /sethome, /home, and /delhome to manage personal return points; voting can grant one additional home.
Voting rewards give players recurring in-game benefits for supporting a server through designated voting links.
Voting 10 times per month grants one additional home, directly expanding the number of personal locations a player can maintain.
Teleport requests let players ask to move directly to another player, reducing travel time when meeting or regrouping.
CrypticMC provides /tpa and /tpahere requests with /tpaccept, /tpdeny, and /tpacancel controls for player movement.
Player mail provides an in-game way to send messages or correspondence to other players asynchronously.
CrypticMC includes /mail for inter-player messages, providing a separate alternative to communicating only through live chat.
A direct communication feature for sending messages privately between individual players instead of posting them to shared chat.
The command list includes /msg for direct player communication, giving players a private channel alongside the server’s shared interactions.
