About SimPvP
SimPvP keeps survival close to vanilla while removing most safety rails. The server runs in hard mode with no kits, vote rewards, or /home commands, so players have to earn their position through play.
What Makes It Different
SimPvP leaves its history in the world instead of wiping it away. An abandoned base can be a landmark, a source of loot, or the next target, and the same harsh rules apply to everyone.

Progression is entirely self-made. There are no starter kits or easy home teleports, so a secure base, useful gear, and reliable travel routes have to be earned over time.
The current world follows the only map reset on September 15, 2011. It contains years of bases, ruins, and other traces of older players, with no world-border limit advertised for the map.
PvP is enabled everywhere and killing is allowed. Stealing, scamming, lying, and griefing are part of the server's open ruleset, making travel and base security genuine risks.
There is no plugin-driven economy or built-in money system. Valuable items and resources matter because players decide what they are worth.
The community includes long-time players who have stayed with the server for years. Building, exploration, PvP, and conversations around old bases all share the same persistent world.
Hacking is banned, including flymods, X-ray, and other modifications or exploits that provide a major unfair advantage. Doxxing is also prohibited. PvP, theft, scams, lying, and griefing are allowed.

History of SimPvP
SimPvP opened to the public on April 23, 2011, under the name SimplicityPvP. It began as a vanilla player-versus-player survival server built around ordinary Minecraft rather than a large collection of custom systems.
The map was reset once, on September 15, 2011. After that single reset, the world became the long-running foundation of the server. Builds, abandoned bases, ruins, and old travel routes gradually became part of its history instead of disappearing in regular resets.
As the server matured, its rules settled into a semi-anarchy, semi-vanilla format. Hard mode, open PvP, and the lack of kits or easy teleport commands kept survival demanding. Players could fight, steal, scam, lie, and destroy, while hacked clients, unfair exploits, and doxxing remained outside the rules.
By 2019, SimPvP had already developed a reputation for its persistent map, veteran players, and large older bases. The server attracted players who wanted freedom to build and explore without giving up the possibility of conflict.
In 2021, the map had passed its tenth year. Long-time players and newer arrivals shared the same world, giving exploration a historical layer that is unusual on survival servers. Finding an old settlement could reveal a former community, a valuable ruin, or the remains of a past fight.
By late 2025, the world had reached fourteen years of continuous history after the 2011 reset. SimPvP remains a Java survival server where the old map, open conflict, and self-directed play matter more than ranks, kits, or scripted progression.
