About RefinedVanilla
RefinedVanilla is a one-world vanilla SMP with anarchy-style danger and a strict no-cheats rule. The map does not reset, so abandoned bases, highways, ruined spawn areas and old player projects remain part of the world. Java and Bedrock players play together.
What Makes It Different
RefinedVanilla keeps the lasting damage and player freedom of an anarchy server, but bans hacked clients and unfair cheats. Its other major difference is technical: custom Fabric-based software is used to preserve vanilla behavior while handling chunk work in parallel.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
Open PvP, raiding, griefing and the lack of claims or protected bases define the server's central play style.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server emphasizes faithful vanilla mechanics, vanilla combat and redstone behavior.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Raiding and base attacks are intended parts of the gameplay.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, build bases, travel and survive in a shared overworld.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is a shared multiplayer survival world shaped by player groups, rivalries and long-term projects.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
PvP is enabled throughout the world without safe zones.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The world does not reset, allowing ruins, highways and player history to remain.
Start by escaping the damaged spawn area and putting distance between yourself and other players. Travel, navigation and base security matter because there is no /home, /tpa, land-claim system or chest protection. A vanilla client is enough to play, while approved performance and quality-of-life mods can be used.
Progress is carried through the world instead of commands or kits. Gear, hidden storage, farms, Nether routes, technical builds and trusted allies all become valuable because losing a base or revealing its coordinates can undo hours of work.
The server runs custom Fabric-based software known as Ruthenium. Its regionalized chunk handling and multithreading are intended to support a close-to-vanilla experience without requiring players to install a modpack.
The server uses one persistent world with no scheduled resets. Spawn can be heavily damaged, while highways, ruins, hidden bases and long-running player projects become part of the map's history.
PvP is enabled throughout the world, with no safe zones. Raiding and griefing are allowed, so bases and supply routes can be attacked. Combat follows vanilla mechanics, while hacked clients, cheats and unfair modifications are banned.
Discord is the main community hub for support, group-finding and server conversation. The community also uses it for tickets, server discussion and coordination between players.
This is anarchy with enforceable limits. Illegal real-world content, doxxing, threats, hateful builds, impersonation, hacked clients, crash exploits, lag machines and most duplication methods are banned. TNT, rail and carpet duplication are allowed, while real-money trading and excessive advertising are prohibited. Chat may be unfiltered at times.
Optional Tebex ranks are sold as one-time or recurring monthly purchases. Contributor, Supporter and Patron ranks are priced at $3.99, $6.99 and $12.99 per month. Benefits include name styling, Discord features, chat cosmetics, clan commands and cosmetic effects; they do not grant gear, resources, protection, travel, combat advantages or special moderation treatment.
