About Oria SMP
The whitelist is part of Oria SMP’s gameplay: players share a Java survival world where trust replaces land-claim plugins and progress comes from gathering, building, exploring, and trading with other members. The server keeps its changes close to vanilla, adds only light server-side performance support, and uses optional proximity voice chat to make nearby cooperation feel more natural.
What Makes It Different
Oria keeps protection social rather than plugin-driven. There are no land claims or locked-chest systems, so the whitelist, community rules, and server-wide logging carry much of the responsibility for protecting bases and builds. Opt-in PvP preserves that cooperative focus while still allowing agreed duels and organized events.
Proximity voice chat lets Minecraft players speak through audio that becomes quieter or inaudible as their in-game characters move apart.
Optional Simple Voice Chat provides distance-based audio between nearby players in the shared survival world.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
The server preserves standard survival progression while adding limited server-specific features such as optional proximity voice chat.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
A shared multiplayer survival world centers on long-term gathering, building, exploration, cooperation, and player-to-player trade.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players follow ordinary Minecraft survival progression through mining, farming, exploration, equipment improvement, and base development.
Oria uses a close-to-vanilla survival ruleset on Fabric. Players mine, farm, explore, build, and trade without custom items, kits, shop commands, or an economy plugin. Simple Voice Chat is optional, and the normal Java client can connect without installing client-side mods.
Progression comes from ordinary Minecraft survival rather than a rank ladder or custom power system. Players improve through equipment, farms, bases, exploration, and player-to-player trade, with diamonds serving as the main medium of exchange. Supporter contributions do not provide gameplay advantages.
The main player-facing addition is optional Simple Voice Chat, which provides distance-based audio between nearby players. Fabric-side performance mods such as Lithium, FerriteCore, and ServerCore support server performance without changing the normal survival progression.
The shared survival world is available through a browser-based BlueMap that shows the terrain and player locations. With no land-claim plugin, players rely on the whitelist, trust, community rules, and server logging when choosing where to build and how to share space.
PvP is opt-in. Players should agree to fights or take part in a server event before attacking, keeping the survival world cooperative by default while leaving room for duels and organized combat.
The economy is player-driven and diamond-based. There are no /sell commands, artificial shop economy, or purchased gameplay shortcuts, so prices and trades develop between players.
Oria SMP is an 18+ whitelisted community. Applicants join the Discord before applying, answer questions about their Minecraft experience and play style, and receive the decision through Discord. The setup favors players who want a smaller, mature group rather than an open public server.
Respect other players, do not grief or steal, and keep pranks harmless and reversible. Hacks, X-ray, fly clients, noclip, unfair advantage clients, intentional duplication glitches, harassment, hate speech, and explicit content are prohibited. PvP requires consent unless players are taking part in a server event. TNT duplication machines are specifically permitted.
Support is voluntary and restricted to cosmetic recognition. Supporters receive a shield badge next to their Discord name and an aqua in-game username, with no gameplay advantages, extra commands, kits, or progression benefits.
A no-claims survival world leaves players responsible for choosing locations, hiding valuables, and defending their own builds.
Oria has no land-claim plugin or locked-chest protection; players rely on the whitelist, community rules, server logging, and mutual trust.
Whitelist access restricts server entry to approved players who have completed an application or invitation process.
Applicants join Discord, answer questions about their Minecraft experience and play style, and must receive approval before connecting to Oria SMP.
Opt-in PvP lets players enable or agree to player combat instead of making hostile encounters universal.
Players must agree to fights before attacking, except when they participate in a server event, preserving cooperative survival by default.
An 18+ community limits participation to adults, shaping the server’s social environment and intended audience.
Oria SMP restricts membership to players aged 18 and older, enforcing the age requirement during its whitelist application process.
A diamond economy uses diamonds as a commonly accepted medium for exchanging goods, services, or player-run commerce.
Players use diamonds as Oria's main medium of exchange, setting trade terms directly without server-run shops, /sell commands, or an economy plugin.
