About Vanilla Europa
Vanilla Europa keeps the normal Minecraft survival loop at the center: mine, craft, explore, build, trade, and settle in one shared world. Land claims, player warps, a diamond marketplace, optional proximity voice chat, and community events add multiplayer convenience without replacing survival with classes, custom equipment, or a virtual-money economy. The world has remained in place since 16 November 2018, with new terrain added by expanding the border rather than resetting the map. Java and Bedrock players join the same survival world.
What Makes It Different
Vanilla Europa's defining choice is permanence. Its survival world has not had a full reset since 16 November 2018, and new terrain is added by expanding the border as Minecraft updates arrive. Old builds and community locations remain part of the same world as new settlements, while land claims and diamond shops make a long-term public world workable.
Proximity voice chat lets Minecraft players speak through audio that becomes quieter or inaudible as their in-game characters move apart.
Optional PlasmoVoice and Simple Voice Chat systems support location-based player communication.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
Standard Minecraft mechanics, crafting, combat, resources, and progression remain unchanged at the core.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Server-side claims, warps, marketplace, voice chat, and moderation add limited systems without replacing vanilla progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Normal Minecraft survival is the server’s central experience, including mining, crafting, farming, exploration, building, and combat.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The same world has had no full-map reset since 2018 and expands through border growth.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players share one long-running survival world with settlements, builds, shops, travel destinations, and community history.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Players use claims to protect their bases and control building and interaction permissions.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Player trade uses a diamond-based economy and a shared marketplace connected to ordinary survival activities.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Players sell resources and goods through chest shops at the /warp Market marketplace.
Normal vanilla mechanics remain the main experience. Players mine, craft, enchant, explore, build, farm, and travel through one populated survival world. Server-side systems handle land protection, moderation, crossplay, and convenient player travel, while optional mods can add voice chat or distant-world viewing without changing crafting, combat, building, resource gathering, or progression.
Progression follows standard Minecraft survival rather than RPG classes or plugin-driven equipment. Players advance through ordinary resource gathering, crafting, exploration, enchantments, farms, construction, trading, and long-term settlement building. The persistent world gives that progression a durable destination instead of a seasonal reset.
Geyser and Floodgate provide Java-Bedrock crossplay, while land claims, player warps, moderation tools, and the marketplace supply multiplayer conveniences. PlasmoVoice and Simple Voice Chat are both supported and can communicate with one another. Voxy and LOD Server Support are optional. Survival extras described for the server include mob-head collecting and charged-creeper encounters.
The server has one persistent survival world with no full-map resets since launch. When new Minecraft updates add terrain, the world border is expanded to provide new generation while preserving older regions. The official live map lets players inspect builds, locate places, and plan trips. Voxy and LOD Server Support can optionally provide a much wider view of the established world.
PvP is allowed only when everyone involved consents. A player's PvP indicator counts as consent. The server is not an anarchy or factions-war environment, and the rules protect claimed areas while allowing unclaimed bases to be raided without being griefed.
The economy is item-based and player-run. Diamonds are the predominant currency instead of virtual money such as a balance command, and players trade through the chest-shop marketplace at /warp Market. Player shops, warps, resource gathering, and community settlements connect the economy to ordinary survival play.
Regular community events bring players together for competitions and gatherings. Public server information specifically highlights HungerGames and UHC events, which provide a more competitive change of pace alongside ordinary survival.
The official Discord is the main place for support, announcements, news, and event coordination. The community also maintains a substantial wiki covering server history, players, items, locations, events, and notable places. The server's social character centers on shared builds, towns, shops, voice chat, and long-term community history rather than constant faction warfare.
Speak English in main chat. Griefing, stealing, duping, X-ray, and hacks are prohibited. Players should claim their builds, since deliberately unclaimed construction is not protected. Unclaimed bases may be raided but not griefed, claims can be removed after 60 days of inactivity, and claims are exempt from that inactivity rule at 115,000 claim blocks. PvP requires consent, and mods that provide a gameplay advantage are not allowed. The rules permit common visual, mapping, voice-chat, and performance mods, with unlisted mods requiring staff approval.
The official store advertises ranks, cosmetics, perks, and Special Crate Keys. A listed key grants one random item from the Special Crate, with equal probability for each item. The homepage presents Vanilla Europa as a no-pay-to-win server.
A no-reset policy keeps the same world active instead of replacing it with a fresh map on a routine schedule.
Vanilla Europa reports no full-map reset since 16 November 2018, preserving older builds and settlements in the active survival world.
Consent-based PvP restricts player combat to agreed encounters or designated areas, reducing unwanted fighting in shared survival spaces.
PvP is allowed only when everyone involved consents, with a player’s PvP indicator serving as the consent signal.
World border expansion enlarges an established survival map to provide new terrain without replacing existing player progress.
When Minecraft updates add terrain, Vanilla Europa expands its border rather than resetting the established world.
A resource currency uses a familiar Minecraft material as the primary medium for player purchases, trade, and wealth accumulation.
Diamonds are Vanilla Europa’s predominant currency, replacing a conventional virtual-money balance in its player-run marketplace.
Unclaimed-base raiding permits attacks or loot attempts against unprotected bases while separate rules may prohibit griefing.
Unclaimed bases may be raided at Vanilla Europa, but griefing remains prohibited and claimed areas receive protection.
Chest shops let players create self-service storefronts where stored items are exchanged with other players under posted prices or trade rules.
Players trade through chest shops at the /warp Market marketplace, connecting gathered resources and crafted goods to community commerce.
A live world map displays an interactive overview of explored terrain, player locations, bases, or notable landmarks.
Vanilla Europa provides an official live map for locating builds, viewing places, and planning trips through its established world.
A land-protection rule that removes or changes inactive claims after a defined period without player activity.
Claims can be removed after 60 days of inactivity, except claims covered by the 115,000 claim-block exemption.
Player Warps let players create publicly accessible destinations for shops, bases, services, or community locations across the server world.
Player warps supplement ordinary travel by connecting players with shops, settlements, and other community locations.
Voice chat interoperability allows players using different supported voice systems to communicate through the same proximity experience.
PlasmoVoice and Simple Voice Chat are both supported, and users of the two systems can communicate with one another.

History of Vanilla Europa
Vanilla Europa began on 16 November 2018 in Minecraft 1.13, started by ZepsiZola. Instead of opening replacement seasons, the server has kept that world and expanded its world border when updates introduced new terrain.
That policy has turned the world into a long-running record of player builds, settlements, and community locations. By 2026 it was still presented as an eight-year world with zero full-map resets, alongside newer crossplay, claim protection, voice chat, and marketplace systems.
