About Thumpstone SMP
Thumpstone is a Vanilla+ survival SMP where a base can grow into a settlement, and settlements can unite into nations. Claim land, recruit players, run shops, earn money through jobs, and choose your own role. You can stay independent, build quietly, or get pulled into diplomacy and war.
Season 2: Age of Nations slows down the usual rush. The border expands through shared progress, and The End opens later. The world also features more than 100 biomes, custom terrain, ruins, settlements, dungeons and expanded Nether and End dimensions.
What Makes It Different
Thumpstone makes the whole server work together to open more of the world. The End and new frontier areas are milestones for the community, not prizes for the first player to speedrun there. Its Legacy Builds and Hall of Fame also let major player achievements outlive a season.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server presents itself as Vanilla+ and keeps normal Minecraft survival at its core.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Each season lasts roughly a year and preserves player history through Legacy Builds and the Hall of Fame.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Chest shops, commercial areas and public player warps support a player-led marketplace.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.

The main loop is normal survival with extra reasons to cooperate. Claim land, build a settlement, choose jobs, level mcMMO skills, trade through player shops and explore custom terrain. You can join a nation or remain independent.
Progress comes from mcMMO skills, Jobs, ranks, equipment and access to new parts of the world. Border expansion and The End are tied to shared server progress, which keeps the season from collapsing into an early rush to endgame.
Villagers use a custom system with different races, personalities, quests, trading patterns and economies. The server also adds mcMMO, custom Nether and End generation, player warps, chest shops, decorative building tools, extra advancements and other quality-of-life features.
The Overworld has more than 100 biomes, including unusual terrain such as mountain ranges, volcanic craters and underground rivers. Ruins, settlements, dungeons and other structures fill the landscape. The Nether and End use expanded generation, and compatible clients can use Distant Horizons for a wider view.
PvP is allowed in enabled areas and does not require consent. Lands protects claimed territory, but anything outside a claim can be looted, salvaged or changed by other players. Nations can organise wars, while repeated targeting intended to stop someone playing normally is treated as harassment.
Jobs provide a way to earn the in-game currency through ordinary activities. Players trade through chest shops, rent land, create commercial areas and set public warps for shops or destinations. Prices are meant to come from player demand rather than an unlimited server shop.
The season itself is a long competition between developing nations. End-of-season winners can earn a permanent Hall of Fame place, and outstanding builds can be nominated as Legacy Builds for future seasons.
Thumpstone is an English-speaking community built around settlements, alliances, businesses and shared projects. Discord connects with in-game ranks and Lands, including private text and voice channels for teammates. Players can take part in nations and PvP, but neither is required.
Cheating, hacked clients, X-ray, duplication, macros, autoclickers, chunk loaders and other unfair automation are prohibited. Players get one account each. Claims define ownership, PvP is allowed in enabled areas, deliberate scams and real-money trading are forbidden, and AFK farming is limited to 20 minutes. Staff can issue warnings, remove illegitimate items or money, and apply temporary or permanent bans.
The server is free to play. Optional supporter ranks and cosmetic purchases help fund it, but they do not increase land limits or earning potential. Competitive progression is intended to come from gameplay rather than payment.

History of Thumpstone SMP
Thumpstone was running by 2025 as a long-term survival project with a Vanilla+ approach. Its early formula paired familiar survival with land claims, mcMMO, custom terrain, structures, economy systems and tougher PvE content.
The server developed around seasons lasting roughly a year. That format gives settlements, businesses, rivalries and large builds time to grow before a fresh world begins.
By June 2026, the next season was being prepared as a new world built around the Age of Nations theme. The reset kept the long-term format while moving settlements, national growth, diplomacy and organised war to the front of the experience.
Season 2 launched on August 22, 2026. Its frontier opens in stages through shared community progress, and access to The End is tied to server-wide advancement rather than being available immediately.
Season 2 also gives player creations a path beyond the current map. Winning nations can earn a place in the Hall of Fame, while exceptional builds may be selected as Legacy Builds for inclusion in future seasons.
Today, Thumpstone is a year-long civilisation SMP where independent builders and organised nations share the same evolving survival world. Territory, trade, exploration and player-made history matter as much as gear.
