About TerraTrove
TerraTrove is a hard-difficulty vanilla SMP for adults, with a whitelist that keeps the community smaller and more personal. The world stays close to normal Minecraft while adding useful touches such as player shops, live mapping, proximity voice chat, player-specific loot, and easier travel.
What Makes It Different
TerraTrove makes a seasonal SMP feel like a small town. Spawn has a 500-block community district, shops need approval, bases are marked on the live map, and the Nether roof hub sends roads toward the wider world.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The gameplay stays close to vanilla Minecraft with quality-of-life additions.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
The spawn district is built around approved player-run shops.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Players can request protected base claims marked on the live map.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is a hard-difficulty survival world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
TerraTrove is structured as a seasonal multiplayer survival community.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Diamonds form the player-driven currency system.
Survival runs on hard difficulty across a 30,000 by 30,000 block map. Mob griefing is disabled, 40% of players can skip a night or storm, and phantoms can be toggled. Player-specific loot containers prevent one player from emptying another player's shared container.
Progress is self-directed rather than built around a minigame ladder. Players develop a base, connect it to the Nether highway system, gather diamonds, open shops, and contribute to larger seasonal builds or community projects.
Most additions are quality-of-life systems rather than a new combat or RPG layer. Players can show inventories with [i], [inv], and [ender], share coordinates with [pos], use linked Minecraft–Discord chat, and access proximity voice chat with supported client-side Fabric mods.
The main world covers roughly 30,000 by 30,000 blocks. Spawn is protected within a 500-block radius and is reserved for community builds and shops. A Nether-roof hub at 0, 128, 0 has highways extending up to 1,250 blocks in each cardinal direction.
Diamonds are the main player currency. The shopping district near spawn supports player-run sales of resources, items, and services. Shop prices normally cannot be free and must have a minimum price of one diamond unless staff approve an exception.
Community events, shared builds, and seasonal projects are part of the server's social structure. An Event Manager role handles event planning and participation.
TerraTrove is an 18+ whitelisted community connected through Discord. Applicants use the Discord application channel, complete a short form, and link their Minecraft account after approval. Suggestions, support requests, and player disputes are handled through dedicated Discord channels and private tickets.
Portal-based farms are not allowed. Mob spawn rates are limited, the villager soft cap is eight, and some farm behavior is restricted for server stability. Spawn builds and player shops require approval, while base claims are reviewed with nearby development and claim size in mind.
The official store offers ranks, pets, chat colours, gift cards, and statistic tokens. Tags and chat colours can also be earned through voting. Store purchases are virtual, final, and generally non-refundable.
