About StarryMC
StarryMC centers on long-term survival: gather resources, build bases and farms, trade through player shops, and take part in community events. Its current setup separates low-pressure play with keep inventory and no PvP from a Mace PvP SMP where raiding and combat make preparation and base security more important.
What Makes It Different
The split between a protected Casual SMP and a raid-ready Mace PvP SMP lets players choose how much danger follows their survival progress. The PvP side is built around mace combat and raiding rather than being only a separate arena queue.
Mace PvP is Minecraft combat focused on landing mace smash attacks after falling from height.
The Mace PvP SMP is specifically advertised around mace combat as its defining player-combat style.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Raiding is an advertised activity on the Mace PvP SMP, where players must prepare for attacks against opposing bases.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
StarryMC retains ordinary survival progression while adding quality-of-life systems, cosmetics, collectible plushies, and other server-specific extras.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is explicitly organized around multiplayer survival experiences where players build, gather, farm, trade, and develop shared long-term projects.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering resources, exploring, farming, building bases, improving gear, and surviving are the main activities across both current SMP experiences.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
One of the server's two current survival experiences is explicitly focused on player combat, while the other disables PvP.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The profile describes persistent bases, farms, shops, towns, and long-term building projects that develop through continued community activity.
The main loop is close to ordinary survival with a strong community focus. Players gather, explore, farm, build long-term projects, trade through player shops, and join server events. Current vanilla+ extras include quality-of-life systems, custom cosmetics, collectible plushies, and other social features.
Progression comes mainly from improving gear, developing a base, expanding farms, building larger projects, and participating in the player economy. The Casual SMP protects inventory on death, while the Mace PvP SMP adds more pressure around combat preparation, valuable equipment, and keeping a base secure.
The server uses a vanilla+ approach with quality-of-life systems, custom cosmetics, collectible plushies, and other extras that add variety without replacing the core survival progression.
StarryMC is built around a persistent community survival setting with bases, farms, shops, towns or communities, and long-term building projects. The server is aimed at players who want the world to develop through shared activity over time.
The Casual SMP disables PvP. The Mace PvP SMP is the higher-risk side of the server, with mace combat, raiding, and a risk-versus-reward survival format.
Player shops and trading give gathered, farmed, and crafted resources a player-driven use. The economy supports the broader survival loop rather than replacing it with a separate grind-focused mode.
Community events are part of the server's social schedule, alongside building, trading, and shared survival projects.
The StarryMC Discord is a central meeting place for players, support, and server announcements. The community is presented as friendly, welcoming, and focused on making friends through Minecraft.
StarryMC is not an anarchy server. The Casual SMP is advertised with keep inventory and no PvP, while the Mace PvP SMP permits raiding as part of its risk-focused survival format. Griefing and unrestricted anarchy are not part of the advertised casual experience.
The store focuses on quality-of-life or convenience perks, cosmetics, collectible items, and premium Stars rather than pay-to-win advantages. Purchases are described as supporting server upkeep and development, and the store lists purchases as final and non-refundable.
Keep inventory preserves a player’s carried items after death, reducing the ordinary survival penalty for dying.
The Casual SMP advertises keep inventory, so deaths there do not discard the resources and gear players are carrying.
Selective PvP allows a server to enable player combat in some worlds, modes, or areas while restricting it elsewhere.
StarryMC separates combat rules between SMPs: Casual SMP disables PvP, while Mace PvP SMP is explicitly combat-focused.
Dual survival modes provide separate survival experiences with different rules, risk levels, or combat expectations within one server.
Players choose between Casual SMP with keep inventory and no PvP, or Mace PvP SMP with raiding and higher-risk combat.
Custom cosmetics change a player's visual presentation through decorative appearances, effects, tags, or themed personalization.
StarryMC includes custom cosmetics as optional vanilla-plus extras that add personalization without replacing survival progression.
Collectible plush-themed items or decorations that players acquire, display, and use to personalize their Minecraft spaces.
The server lists collectible plushies among its custom extras, adding an optional collection goal without replacing ordinary survival progression.
