About SnugSMP
SnugSMP is a relaxed Survival SMP for building, exploring, collecting, running shops, and spending time with other players. Java and Bedrock players share the same community, and PvP is not part of normal survival.
What Makes It Different
SnugSMP combines a calm no-PvP atmosphere with permanent survival worlds. Fresh worlds can be added without wiping the older ones, so both new adventures and long-term builds have room to grow.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Worlds and player builds are intended to remain available without regular resets.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
Its Vanilla+ design keeps the classic Minecraft experience at the center.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Normal survival is designed without player combat.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server's central game mode.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is built around shared long-term survival gameplay.
Survival is the main mode. Players can build large projects, explore, collect resources, run shops, complete quests, join minigames, and take part in community events. The experience stays close to normal Minecraft while adding useful quality-of-life features.
Progress is built around long-term survival projects, quests, challenges, rewards, and a simple economy. Because worlds are not routinely reset, farms, bases, shops, and community builds can keep developing over time.
Vanilla+ quality-of-life features add convenience without replacing the familiar Minecraft survival feel. Quests, challenges, rewards, minigames, and /back provide the main extras.
The server keeps established worlds available instead of using regular resets. In July 2026, it added new Overworld, Nether, and End worlds while keeping earlier worlds intact.
SnugSMP is a no-PvP survival server. Players looking for open-world fights, raiding, faction warfare, or combat-first progression will not find that as the normal gameplay loop.
A simple player economy supports shops and trading. The server also has a shop for convenient purchases and progression-related activity.
Weekend events, building competitions, minigames, and other community competitions give players short-term goals alongside their regular survival projects.
SnugSMP has an English-speaking, LGBTQ+-friendly community built around relaxed survival, building, chatting, and shared projects. Discord is the main social hub for meeting players and joining activities.
PvP is disabled for the normal survival experience, keeping ordinary play focused on building, exploration, trading, and community projects.
The official store offers permanent ranks and a Snug Sub that unlocks cosmetics. The server's store offering is presented as non-pay-to-win, with cosmetic and access benefits rather than combat advantages.
History of SnugSMP
The SnugSMP community began on December 8, 2025, with a shared Java-and-Bedrock survival experience at its center. It developed as a survival server rather than a network built around competitive game modes.
By June 2026, its main format had taken shape. SnugSMP offered Vanilla+ survival with no PvP, no world resets, and permanent builds. Players could therefore work on long-term projects without a seasonal wipe cycle removing established progress.
During summer 2026, the server added more ways to stay active. Quests, challenges, rewards, shops, and the /back command expanded the standard survival experience while keeping its gameplay close to classic Minecraft.
Weekend events, minigames, and building competitions added organized activities alongside normal survival. These community competitions gave players goals beyond gathering resources, exploring, and developing permanent builds.
On July 25, 2026, SnugSMP added fresh Overworld, Nether, and End worlds. The expansion did not remove the existing worlds, allowing players to explore new terrain while keeping their established projects available.
A new 26.2 world followed on July 26. This continued the server's approach of adding fresh terrain without discarding the worlds and builds that players had already developed.
By August 2026, SnugSMP offered a community-focused, no-PvP survival environment with Java-Bedrock crossplay, permanent worlds, light Vanilla+ features, an economy with shops and rewards, and regular events and competitions.
