About SwanCraft
SwanCraft is a semi-vanilla survival SMP built around a persistent community rather than a large network of game modes. Players claim land, build towns and bases, trade through player shops, and chase collectible series without Towny, Factions, or MCMMO changing the core game.
What Makes It Different
SwanCraft keeps the survival game intentionally recognizable. Its progression comes from building, trading, collecting, voting, and community projects instead of ranks, classes, factions, or a stack of separate modes.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
SwanCraft is consistently presented as semi-vanilla and close to standard Minecraft.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
The server is listed and described as PvE survival rather than PvP-centered.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Its core format is a persistent multiplayer survival world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a survival SMP.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Diamonds and player trading are important parts of progression.
The main experience is semi-vanilla survival. Grief Prevention claims let players protect land and choose who can access it. The server does not use Towny, Factions, MCMMO, or separate permanent game modes.
Progress comes from expanding a protected build, earning and trading diamonds, completing collectible series, voting for rewards, and joining server events. Crates add special gear and collectibles without replacing the survival world.
Collectible series and themed crate rewards are the main custom layer. Some collectibles can provide cosmetic or gameplay-related perks, while the rest of the server stays close to vanilla Minecraft.
The current server profile lists 30,000 by 30,000 blocks for the Overworld, Nether, and End. SwanCraft uses a single survival world instead of a hub full of permanent game modes.
SwanCraft is presented as a PvE survival server rather than a PvP-focused network. PvP is not the central progression system.
The economy is item-based, with diamonds serving as the main trading medium. Player shops at /warp shops form the market, and there are no economy-plugin balances or admin-shop prices defining the server.
Events include falling crate keys, map-art contests, build contests, art contests, movie nights, Discord activities, and other themed community events.
The server is designed for long-term social play. Players are encouraged to build together, use player shops, suggest improvements, join contests, and take part in an LGBTQIA+-inclusive community.
Land claims are central to protecting builds and controlling access. Keep-inventory is not enabled, so death can still cost carried items. The server's stated design avoids Towny, Factions, MCMMO, custom enchants, and permanent alternate modes.
SwanCraft supports itself through voting and donations. Voting provides keys, claimblocks, materials, vote ranks, gear, collectibles, and store-related rewards. Paid ranks are designed as pay-to-skip options, while vote ranks can provide stronger perks than donor ranks.

History of SwanCraft
SwanCraft was founded in 2017 by Siuan as a response to pay-to-win servers that put monetization ahead of community. From the beginning, it focused on keeping survival close to vanilla while adding practical commands, land protection, events, and a place where players could settle for the long term.
