About StoryMine
StoryMine is a long-term survival server built around building, farming, and trading. Start with normal Minecraft gathering, then sell resources to the buyer, earn coins through jobs, and open a chest shop for other players.
Combat stays out of the main world. PvP belongs in arenas, griefing is prohibited, and players receive large land claims. The world is huge and designed to keep growing without wipes, so towns, farms, shops, and personal warps can become lasting projects.
What Makes It Different
StoryMine combines ordinary vanilla survival with a deep money loop. Farms and mining are not just ways to gather materials; they help fund better tools and even donor statuses through in-game currency.
Its other major difference is permanence. Players can protect large areas, avoid wilderness PvP, and keep building in a world intended to survive for the long term.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server preserves core Minecraft mechanics and presents itself as near-vanilla survival.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The current survival era is explicitly built around avoiding wipes and preserving player projects.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Large claims are a major part of the protected building experience.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server's central mode is long-term survival.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players build, trade, claim land, and develop shared settlements in a persistent multiplayer world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Coins, jobs, resource selling, donor purchases, and player shops shape progression.
Begin with normal survival gathering, exploration, farming, and mob hunting. Vanilla mechanics remain central, including the need to find gear, elytra, and resources yourself.
Resource production matters more than usual. Farms can supply the goods buyer, while mining and mob kills can pay through the job system. Players can also build chest shops and create a personal warp.
Progression starts with basic tools, farms, and resource gathering. Sell materials to the goods buyer and earn extra coins through the available jobs.
Later goals include chest-shop income, better farms, and upgraded pickaxes with Fortune IV or Fortune V. Donor statuses can also be obtained with in-game currency, so progress does not depend entirely on real-money spending.
The server keeps vanilla Minecraft mechanics intact while adding a light layer of progression around jobs, the goods buyer, chest shops, upgraded tools, player warps, and donor statuses.
Fortune IV and Fortune V pickaxes are the clearest custom progression goal. They make efficient farms and resource production valuable long after the usual early-game stage.
StoryMine provides a large survival world advertised at roughly 50,000 by 50,000 blocks. Players can establish permanent bases, towns, farms, shops, and warps across the map.
A dedicated Dynmap-style world map is available. Large claims give ordinary players substantial building space without requiring a donor rank.
PvP is restricted to designated arenas rather than the main survival world. Players are not meant to be ambushed during ordinary building, mining, or travel.
Griefing is prohibited, and large land claims protect bases. The main risks are vanilla mobs, environmental hazards, mistakes during trading, and whatever happens outside protected areas.
The economy uses coins earned from selling resources to a goods buyer and completing jobs. Jobs reward activities such as mining blocks and killing mobs.
Chest shops let players trade directly with one another. The economy also connects to progression because coins can buy powerful tool upgrades and donor statuses.
StoryMine is aimed at a Russian-speaking community. The social atmosphere is intended to stay calm, with toxicity, harassment, and bullying prohibited.
Players can build together, trade through shops, form towns, and visit one another through free player warps.
PvP is limited to arenas, and griefing is prohibited. Players receive large land claims to protect their bases.
The main world does not provide OP, GOD, or FLY advantages to ordinary donor ranks. Cheating and other detailed enforcement rules are not sufficiently established here.
Donor statuses are available, but the server keeps their advantages restrained. In-game currency can be used to obtain donor statuses, reducing the need for real-money purchases.
The strongest advertised restrictions are the absence of OP, GOD, and FLY advantages. A separate current store URL could not be established.

History of StoryMine
The StoryMine name appeared in a 2014 Factions and Survival project and again in a 2020 survival project, but those older hosts cannot be connected to today's network with certainty.
The current StoryMine era began on October 10, 2024, with a no-wipe survival world. Its identity centered on familiar Minecraft mechanics, restrained donor advantages, and a safer building environment than open-world anarchy servers.
The server developed a steady money loop around gathering and selling resources. Players could earn coins through jobs, use a goods buyer, and trade directly through shops built from chests.
Long-term progression added upgraded tools, including Fortune IV and Fortune V pickaxes. These expensive tools gave farms, mining, and resource production a clear purpose beyond ordinary survival equipment.
Building became the lasting focus. Large claims, free player warps, a large world, and a live map supported permanent bases, towns, farms, and player-run markets.
The project also retained a separate identity from minigame-heavy networks. Its main experience remained classic survival, with arena combat available for players who wanted PvP without turning the wilderness into a constant battlefield.
Today, StoryMine is a Russian Java survival server using the mc.storymine.ru address, with the Classic subdomain also associated with the same long-term no-wipe experience.
