About Smithtainment Minecraft
Smithtainment Minecraft keeps ordinary survival at the center, then layers MCMMO, jobs, leveled mobs, playtime ranks, land claims, teleportation and a player-driven economy onto a vanilla-ish world. Players can gather, build, trade through server and player shops, and take on custom Ender Dragon encounters, with a dedicated PvP arena for combat. It is currently a small-community survival destination rather than a large minigame network.
What Makes It Different
A standout part of Smithtainment's design is its fairy-based death recovery option, which lets players buy back items lost on death. That unusual safety net sits alongside custom Ender Dragon fights, leveled mobs and a vanilla-ish survival economy, giving the server more structure than a pure vanilla world without turning it into a heavily scripted minigame network.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
MCMMO is a named progression system that adds skill development to ordinary survival activities.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
The server explicitly combines familiar Minecraft survival with MCMMO, jobs, custom mobs, teleportation, economy and other added systems.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Jobs provide a documented route to income and progression alongside mining, building and other survival activities.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server's central experience, with gathering, building, exploration, equipment progression and base development.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Server shops, an auction house, player chest shops and jobs make currency and trading important progression activities.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Land claims protect player builds and bases from griefing, shaping how players establish themselves in survival.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Leveled mobs, stacked mobs, spawners and custom Ender Dragon encounters add substantial enemy-focused combat content.
The main experience is survival with quality-of-life systems layered over familiar Minecraft gathering, building and exploration. MCMMO, jobs, leveled mobs, a resource world, stacked mobs and spawners, player warps, homes, random teleportation and land claims give players several ways to develop a base and character. Custom Ender Dragon encounters and a PvP arena add combat goals beyond ordinary overworld survival.
Progression combines normal equipment and resource advancement with MCMMO skills, jobs, leveled combat content and playtime ranks. Spending more time on the server unlocks additional rank perks, while jobs, shops and player trading provide economic goals alongside building and exploration. Cosmetic crates, chat tags and related cosmetic rewards add a non-combat collection track.
Custom systems include MCMMO, jobs, leveled mobs, stacked mobs and spawners, playtime ranks, teleportation tools, cosmetics, chat tags and custom Ender Dragon fights. The death-recovery fairy is another distinctive mechanic, allowing lost items to be bought back after death. Some cosmetic and command details originated in the server's earlier launch design and may have changed.
The known layout includes a survival world, a resource world, a custom spawn, player warps, land claims and a PvP arena below spawn. The server is presented as vanilla-ish rather than fully vanilla, with survival remaining the central destination. No public live map or confirmed world-reset schedule is available.
PvP is part of the survival experience and includes a dedicated arena beneath the custom spawn. Land claims are intended to protect player builds from griefing. The available rules and gameplay information does not establish whether open-world PvP, raiding, organized wars or combat penalties apply outside designated areas.
Smithtainment combines a balanced server shop economy with an auction house and player-run chest shops. Jobs provide another route to income, while player shops and auctions support a more community-driven marketplace. The currency name, shop prices, fees and job payouts are not part of the public server information.
Community announcements have included a Minecraft Video Event. The server also has Minecraft announcement and development-log sections, but no recurring tournament calendar, seasonal schedule or regular event series is established.
Smithtainment has an official Discord and a forum with dedicated Minecraft Survival announcements, development logs, rules, applications and appeals. The Minecraft server itself is a small community, with recent monitoring generally showing single-digit concurrent players and a recorded peak of 14 in the available period. The wider Smithtainment Gaming Discord and forum community covers more than Minecraft, so its membership numbers should not be treated as the active Minecraft population.
Rules and documents are organized on the official forums, alongside applications and appeals. Players should review the community rules before building or fighting, especially because the server combines land claims, survival, PvP, player shops and custom progression. Detailed PvP, raiding and claim-protection conditions should be confirmed with the staff or current rules.
Donor ranks and cosmetic rewards are part of Smithtainment's published design, including cosmetics, chat tags and cosmetic effects. Donor benefits are described as non-overpowered rather than granting overwhelming combat advantages. Current store pricing, packages and purchase terms are not listed here.
A recovery mechanic that lets players reclaim items lost when their character dies, subject to the server's implementation.
A fairy-based option lets Smithtainment players buy back items lost after death on the server.
An auction house lets players list items for sale and buy goods through a shared market interface.
Smithtainment includes an auction house alongside server shops and player-run chest shops for community trading.
Specially configured Ender Dragon encounters that alter or expand the standard boss battle with server-specific combat challenges.
Smithtainment offers custom Ender Dragon fights as a combat goal beyond ordinary overworld survival.
Leveled mobs assign enemies varying strengths or difficulty tiers, making encounters scale beyond ordinary Minecraft hostile creatures.
The server includes leveled mobs, adding scaled enemy encounters to its custom survival combat content.
Playtime ranks reward continued participation by unlocking higher status, additional permissions, utility access, or increased gameplay limits.
Smithtainment grants increasingly useful rank perks based on time spent playing on the server.
A resource world provides a separate area for gathering materials without making the primary settlement world the only mining destination.
Smithtainment provides a resource world alongside its main survival world for gathering materials.
A purpose-built bounded area where players can enter organized or open combat separate from the surrounding world.
Smithtainment has a dedicated PvP arena beneath its custom spawn, separating combat activity from ordinary survival areas.
