About Server26
Travel matters on Server26 because the server deliberately leaves out /home, /tpa, /warp, and /spawn. It is an adult survival SMP built around one long-running map, ordinary Minecraft gathering and building, protected claims, and a player-run item economy instead of accelerated server progression.
What Makes It Different
Server26 removes many conveniences that define larger survival networks. There is no money system, no admin shop, no teleport network, and no routine map reset, so roads, tunnels, railways, player trade, and long-term builds retain practical value. The result is closer to a persistent private SMP that happens to be public than to a progression-heavy survival network.

Server-side changes are intentionally limited. The main additions are land protection, player trade signs, sleep voting, selected gamerules, and security or maintenance systems. The server avoids large custom progression systems, crates, admin shops, and convenience commands that would substantially change survival play.
Server26 is built around one persistent survival map that began in 2015. The map contains older player-built cities, spawn infrastructure, farms, roads, and wilderness, with the Nether providing access to areas beyond the settled parts of the world. A Dynmap is also available for exploring the existing world.
PvP is enabled, but being able to damage another player is not treated as consent to attack them. The rules allow self-directed conflict and limited vigilante justice within reason while prohibiting harassment, griefing, and disproportionate retaliation.
There is no money plugin or admin shop. Players trade items directly through agreements and player trade signs, with shop plots near spawn available through diamond payments. Items and blocks are expected to come from survival rather than commands, crates, or server-created inventories.
The server is restricted to players aged 18 and over. English is the language for public chat and channels, with Discord serving as the main place for communication outside the game. The community is built around recurring players, shared builds, player help, and a mature social atmosphere.
Players must be at least 18, treat others respectfully, and avoid racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, spam, advertising, cheating, x-ray, griefing, and unauthorized item taking. Some client mods are allowed, but cave modes and ore-finding features are prohibited. Duplication rules are specific, entity-heavy builds may be restricted, and all bans are permanent except age-related temporary bans.
Donations do not provide gameplay power. A donation changes the donor's chat prefix and may assign a donor role, while server support is used to help cover operating and hardware costs. There are no paid items, paid ranks with gameplay advantages, crates, or admin-shop purchases.

History of Server26
Server26 began in June 2015 as a Minecraft server for a group of friends who wanted to keep one world running instead of starting over every few weeks. After more than a year, it was opened to the public while keeping the same long-term idea of expanding the existing map rather than replacing it.
The map has continued through multiple Minecraft updates, with selective chunk pruning used to manage old terrain without replacing the world. By 2023, the server was described as eight years old and still centered on preserving its main map, its close-to-vanilla rules, and its 18+ identity.
