About RusticMC
RusticMC is a community-first survival SMP where players can settle together in a shared village or head out and build independently. The server keeps the survival format simple, with useful commands and plugins instead of a large collection of unrelated game modes.
Your builds are protected by land claims that do not expire, and the world is intended to keep growing instead of resetting. Players trade through chest shops, connect with teleport commands and player warps, and take part in community projects such as Rustic City.
What Makes It Different
RusticMC treats the map as a long-term home instead of a season that gets wiped. Its most distinctive feature is the mix of permanent claims and a genuinely player-built central city.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The map is designed to continue indefinitely without resets.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Chest shops support direct player-to-player trading.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Permanent player claims are one of the server's defining protection systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a long-term survival experience.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players share one persistent world and build communities, towns and independent settlements.
Choose between joining the main community village and creating your own settlement. Useful commands cover teleporting and player warps, while gravestones and high-speed rail make long-term survival easier to manage.
Progress is mostly self-directed. Build a base, develop MCMMO skills, create farms, trade through chest shops and contribute to larger community builds. There is no forced rank ladder or reset cycle driving the server.
The server keeps its Minecraft survival foundation mostly intact. MCMMO, land claims, gravestones, teleporting, player warps and high-speed rail provide the main extra systems.
The world is persistent and does not reset. Players can live in the shared village, join the expanding Rustic City area or travel away to make their own base.
PvP is not the main focus of survival gameplay. It is used for occasional server events, while the wider server centers on building, trading and cooperation.
The economy is largely player-run. Chest shops let players sell goods directly, and the server shop provides a way to sell selected items for money.
Community activities include build competitions held around three times each year, ice boat races and occasional PvP events.
RusticMC is built around shared projects and player relationships. Rustic City grew from players choosing to build near one another, while independent settlements remain welcome.
Griefing and raiding are not allowed. Land claims protect player builds, and the world is intended to remain player-owned or unclaimed rather than divided into admin-controlled zones.
An official Tebex web store is available for server purchases.

History of RusticMC
RusticMC opened on September 10, 2024, with a focus on simple, old-school survival. The server was built around long-term worlds rather than seasonal resets or disposable maps.
Permanent land claims became a central part of the experience. Players could protect their bases while still choosing whether to live near the main community village or establish a remote settlement.
As players built in the same area, the main settlement grew into Rustic City, a large player-made town that continues to expand. The city became a visible example of the server's focus on shared building rather than isolated bases.
The survival core was supported with practical quality-of-life systems. Teleporting, player warps, gravestones, high-speed rail, MCMMO and chest shops added convenience without turning the server into a heavily modified RPG network.
The community also developed recurring activities around the survival world. Build competitions, ice boat races and occasional PvP events gave players reasons to gather outside their normal building and trading routines.
Bedrock access was added alongside Java support, bringing both editions into the same persistent world. RusticMC now remains a lightly customized, claim-protected SMP centered on lasting builds, player commerce and community projects.
