About VanillaClouds
VanillaClouds is built around long-term Survival rather than seasonal resets. Players protect land, gather resources, trade through server and player-run markets, join clans, and develop bases on a persistent world. The network also includes a no-wipe Skyblock mode and a beta Anarchy mode for players who want a more dangerous, less protected style of play.
What Makes It Different
VanillaClouds makes persistence part of the server’s identity. Protected areas survive major world regeneration, while unclaimed terrain can be refreshed and expanded for new exploration. That balance gives established towns room to grow without leaving the whole world permanently unchanged.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
The server retains ordinary Minecraft survival progression while adding claims, economy, clans, pets, events, and other systems.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main Survival world and protected builds continue across updates without routine full wipes.
Clans are player-organized teams that cooperate under a shared name, membership, and allegiance.
Players can organize into clans, develop shared infrastructure, and compete in clan-oriented activities.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the network’s central mode, with gathering, crafting, exploration, building, bases, farming, and long-term progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected areas and claim points secure long-term bases, shops, and player-built settlements.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Currency, jobs, server shops, player shops, auctions, taxes, and direct trades form substantial progression and commerce systems.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Players can operate stores, create warps to them, stock resources, and sell directly to other players.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
PvP is permitted in Survival and becomes a defining source of danger in the Anarchy mode.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
The network offers a separate no-wipe Skyblock mode with floating islands, quests, generators, boosts, upgrades, and rankings.
The main Survival mode combines ordinary Minecraft gathering, crafting, exploration, and building with land protection, economy systems, clans, pets, player warps, PvP, PlasmoVoice, and Emotecraft. Players can settle independently, cooperate in a clan, run a shop, or compete over resources and End activities. Skyblock provides a separate island-based progression path with quests, rankings, generators, boosts, and upgrades. Anarchy is a separate beta mode focused on open conflict, griefing, hidden bases, and limited protection.
Survival progression comes from improving gear and bases, expanding protected territory, taking jobs, trading resources, building wealth, and developing clan infrastructure. The economy supports several routes forward, including mining, farming, hunting, player shops, auctions, server markets, and direct trades. Skyblock progression centers on expanding an island, completing quests, improving generators, and competing in island rankings. The current Survival update also uses daily tasks and a battle pass instead of the former daily-reward system.
Custom systems include pets with selectable roles, protected land, clan features, player warps, PlasmoVoice, Emotecraft, battle-pass progression, custom Anarchy mechanics, runes, and ore-based private blocks. The server also adds decorative tools such as configurable armor stands and maintains a ruleset for permitted client-side mods. Approved examples include optimization mods, JEI, Litematica with restrictions, MiniHUD, Replay Mod, Xaero’s maps, and HWYLA.
The main Survival world is persistent and was expanded to 30,000 by 30,000 blocks during the August 2026 update. Protected areas remain safe when unclaimed terrain is regenerated, and the End was expanded to 25,000 by 25,000 blocks. Server-run events now use a separate world, keeping temporary builds away from the long-term Survival map. Skyblock uses individual floating islands, while Anarchy has its own smaller custom-generated world.
PvP is allowed in the main Survival world rather than being restricted to special arenas, so travel, End trips, and valuable locations can carry real risk. Anarchy pushes that danger much further with open griefing, hidden bases, a custom world generator, ore-based private blocks, and runes. The network also runs separate high-stakes events such as UltraHardcore, where health regeneration is disabled and death removes a player from the match.
The server economy includes jobs, a general shop or exchange, player-run shops, auctions, direct trading, taxes on some auction sales, and in-game currency. Players can create warps that lead to their own stores, compare prices, and choose whether to earn money through work, gathering, production, or trade. The store also sells coins and claim points, while the main Survival community uses money to support shops, equipment, and territory expansion.
The network runs administrator-led and player-led events, anniversary activities, quizzes, building competitions, achievement races, clan competitions, and seasonal UltraHardcore tournaments. UltraHardcore has reached at least a third season, with one-life matches, shrinking borders, restricted alliances, and prizes. Event builds are now hosted in a separate world, and players can request space for their own activities through support.
VanillaClouds is primarily Russian-speaking, with community interaction centered on in-game chat, player-run warps and shops, clans, Telegram support, and a VK group. Player feedback commonly highlights helpful staff, approachable players, recurring events, and the ability to build long-term communities without a routine wipe.
The server prohibits cheats, exploitative clients, X-Ray, Fullbright, Freecam, Baritone, anti-AFK tools, clickers, and other software that provides an unfair advantage. Duplication is prohibited, and the network does not sell administrator permissions. PvP is generally allowed in Survival, but individual events and special areas can impose additional restrictions. Players can contact support about uncertain mods, bans, bugs, and rule disputes.
The official store sells ranks and statuses, titles, coins, claim points, battle-pass access, services, and other digital items. Prices range from low-cost entry ranks to higher-priced permanent statuses. The store also supports promotional discounts and purchasing a privilege for another player. Sales for Skyblock and Anarchy privileges can be paused independently of the Survival store.
A world-management approach that refreshes selected terrain while preserving designated areas, structures, or player progress.
Unclaimed Survival terrain can be regenerated and expanded while protected areas remain intact, preserving established bases during world updates.
Recurring high-stakes survival PvP competitions where restricted healing and severe death consequences make preparation critical.
The network has reached a third UltraHardcore season with disabled health regeneration, one-life elimination, shrinking borders, and restricted alliances.
Player Warps let players create publicly accessible destinations for shops, bases, services, or community locations across the server world.
Players can create warps leading to their own stores and other selected locations in the Survival world.
Protection blocks whose acquisition or crafting is tied to mined ores, combining territory security with resource progression.
Anarchy uses ore-based private blocks for its limited protection system in an otherwise highly dangerous world.
A battle pass presents tracked missions or activities that unlock staged rewards as players complete progression objectives.
The current Survival update uses a battle pass as part of progression, replacing the former daily-reward system.
Player Auctions let players list items for sale, browse other players’ listings, and buy resources through an organized in-game marketplace.
Survival includes auctions alongside shops and direct trades, with some auction sales subject to taxes.
Island generators produce renewable resources on SkyBlock islands, usually with upgrades that improve output or unlock better materials.
Players advance their Skyblock islands through a progression system that explicitly includes generators and upgrades.
Tracked objectives guide players through tasks that reward progress while developing a sky-based island and its resources.
The no-wipe Skyblock mode includes quests alongside island development, generators, boosts, upgrades, and rankings.
Direct Player Trading lets players exchange resources, equipment, or supplies with one another through player-negotiated transactions.
Players can exchange resources through direct trades in addition to using server shops, player stores, and auctions.
A separate world reserved for temporary activities, keeping event builds and gameplay apart from the main world.
Server events now use a separate world so temporary builds do not occupy the long-term Survival map.
Island rankings compare player or team islands through measurable progression, giving development a competitive leaderboard objective.
Skyblock provides island rankings so players can compare their island progress within the no-wipe mode.
Daily Tasks are recurring objectives that refresh regularly and reward players for completing specific activities.
Daily tasks are part of the current Survival progression system and replaced the previous daily-reward approach.
Companion pets that offer selectable roles or functions, letting players configure how pets contribute to gameplay.
The Survival mode includes pets with selectable roles as part of its custom player-facing systems.

History of VanillaClouds
VanillaClouds opened on August 3, 2023 and has kept its main Survival world running through successive updates instead of routinely replacing it. The server’s 1.21-era changes moved the End from full wipes to periodic regeneration and refined private-area controls, helping long-term builds survive while keeping parts of the world fresh.
In 2025, the network continued expanding its economy, lobby, events, and seasonal activities. It also introduced major Survival changes such as a Nether reset announcement and the Ruby Update, while retaining the server’s broader no-wipe approach for protected progress.
In 2026, VanillaClouds added Bedrock access through pe.vcnw.one, ran its third UltraHardcore season, and updated Survival to Minecraft 26.2. The August update regenerated unclaimed terrain, expanded the main world to 30,000 by 30,000 blocks, enlarged the End, introduced a battle pass, and moved server events into a separate world so event builds would not occupy the main map.
