About Skygen
Skygen turns survival into an economy-driven building world. Players mine unlimited resources at spawn, sell what they collect, claim land in the open world, and develop bases, shops, guilds, and long-term wealth. Java and Bedrock players share the same world, with custom terrain and server systems layered over ordinary survival.
What Makes It Different
The server removes the usual early-game resource bottleneck by giving players renewable ore and wood mines at spawn. Progress then shifts toward production and trade, with generators, minions, spawner farms, player shops, auctions, business shares, loans, guilds, and leaderboards creating several ways to build wealth.
Clans are player-organized teams that cooperate under a shared name, membership, and allegiance.
Guilds provide organized teams with shared banks, vaults, buffs, allies, claims, homes, and competitive wars.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Chest shops and player warps let players create storefronts and sell goods to other players.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Player bases, shops, guilds, claims, and economic progress remain part of a continuing shared world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival gathering, building, exploration, and equipment progression form the server's main experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Mining, selling, trading, auctions, loans, shares, and in-game purchases make wealth development central to progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Players protect Overworld bases and builds with golden-shovel land claims and configurable ownership permissions.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
The server offers opt-in world combat, an always-active arena, duels, envoy fights, and guild wars.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
An optional resource pack and server content add furniture, decorations, foods, music discs, heads, and other nonstandard items.
The main loop starts at the spawn mines, where ore and wood regenerate indefinitely. Players sell or condense their haul, buy gameplay perks with in-game money, claim land with a golden shovel, and use random teleport to find a place in the wider world. The server also includes virtual workbenches, portable storage, player warps, an AI chat assistant named Fjorde, proximity voice chat, and optional custom resource-pack content.
Progression moves from mining and selling into generators, minions, spawner farms, player shops, auction listings, and the player exchange. Generators provide personal renewable blocks, minions automate activities while the player remains present, and spawners support larger farms. Guilds level through playtime, mining, mob kills, and bank deposits, unlocking shared vaults, buffs, allies, homes, and guild claims.
Skygen offers an optional server resource pack with custom furniture, decorations, foods, music discs, and other items. Player and mob kills can drop collectible heads, and Bedrock players receive a compatible version of the pack automatically. Custom content appears through shops, events, drops, and player builds.
The Overworld uses reworked terrain and biomes with dramatic mountains, deep caves, and custom trees. The Nether adds new biomes, structures, dungeons, and loot, while the End has reshaped outer islands and additional content. The server provides a browser-based 3D live map, and the End is intended to reset for future content updates.
PvP is opt-in in the normal world. Players begin protected and can toggle combat on, while the arena and duels keep PvP enabled. Combat tagging blocks escape commands for a short period, and the arena hosts hourly envoy drops where players fight for supply crates. Guild wars provide a larger team-based conflict layer.
Players earn money by mining spawn resources, selling through `/sell all` or `/sellgui`, trading through chest shops and player warps, listing items in the auction house, and participating in the player exchange. The economy also includes generators, minions, spawners, loans, business shares, leaderboards, and an in-game perks shop. Gameplay features are purchased with server money rather than real money.
Hourly envoys send supply crates into the always-on PvP arena, with basic, lucky, and titan tiers. Larger events include boss fights, juggernaut rounds, seasonal activities, guild wars, and cosmetic reward challenges. Skygen's first-birthday event runs through October 9, 2026, with progress tracked through `/birthday`.
Guilds provide shared chat, banks, vaults, buffs, allies, claims, and guild homes. The wider community includes Discord, forums, live leaderboards, a live map, player warps, marriages, custom cosmetics, and guild competition.
The rules emphasize common sense, no slurs, no toxicity, no griefing, no scamming, no exploiting, and no attempts to find loopholes. Players may use no more than two alternate accounts. AFK farming and leaving farms running while offline are prohibited, and players must not repeatedly lag the server or misuse admin items in the PvP arena.
The store sells a $2-per-month Supporter Tag subscription with customizable chat text, colors, and formatting. It is cosmetic only. Gameplay features and in-game perks are available through normal play and in-game money, with no real-money gameplay advantages.
Renewable spawn mines are centralized resource areas that regenerate ores, wood, or other materials for repeated gathering.
Skygen's spawn has unlimited ore and wood mines that regenerate indefinitely and anchor the opening mining-and-selling loop.
Opt-in PvP lets players enable or agree to player combat instead of making hostile encounters universal.

Minions are persistent helpers that perform useful production or resource activities, supporting progression while players pursue other objectives.

An auction house lets players list items for sale and buy goods through a shared market interface.
Skygen players list items in an auction house as a selling channel separate from chest shops and player warps.
Custom terrain reshapes the world with server-designed landscapes that provide distinct exploration and building environments.
Skygen reworks its Overworld biomes, mountains, caves, and trees, while also changing Nether and End terrain and structures.
An always-on PvP arena is a dedicated battleground where players can fight without the normal world's combat restrictions.

Spawner farms are player-built setups that repeatedly generate entities or resources for collection, production, or income.
Skygen supports spawners as a wealth progression route for building larger farms alongside generators and minions.
Decorative or collectible player and character heads that players acquire, display, exchange, or pursue as long-term collection goals.

A player exchange is a marketplace where participants trade assets through offers or listings rather than relying only on fixed shop prices.
Skygen includes a player exchange as another trading route beyond chest shops, player warps, and auction listings.
World-specific claims limit land protection to designated dimensions or worlds, giving different areas separate building and interaction rules.
Skygen's golden-shovel claims protect Overworld builds but do not apply in the Nether, End, or arena worlds.
Custom furniture adds decorative or functional placeable objects that expand Minecraft building and interior-design possibilities.
Skygen's optional resource pack adds custom furniture and decorations that players can use in their builds.
Guild banks are shared group funds that members can contribute to and use according to collective permissions or benefits.

Loans let participants borrow value under repayment terms, introducing credit-based economic decisions beyond direct buying and selling.
Skygen includes loans among its wealth-building systems alongside generators, minions, spawners, shops, and shares.
In-game perks are gameplay benefits purchased or unlocked with server-earned resources rather than requiring ordinary real-world payment.
Skygen sells gameplay perks with server money, while its real-money Supporter Tag remains cosmetic-only.
