About Aqualand
On Aqualand, the long-term survival map is the main attraction. Players gather resources, build homes and districts, and continue developing a world that is not routinely wiped, while a separate resource world handles destructive mining and gathering. Java and Bedrock players share the same survival community.
What Makes It Different
Aqualand combines a no-reset main survival world with a regularly reset resource world. That gives players a stable place for homes, districts, rail routes, and landmarks while still providing a renewable area for heavy resource gathering.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main world is explicitly maintained without routine resets, preserving long-term player builds and infrastructure.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players share a long-running multiplayer world with homes, districts, public routes, landmarks, and community development.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server centers on gathering, crafting, building, exploration, and self-directed progression in a shared survival world.
Aqualand keeps survival fairly open-ended, with minimal restrictions beyond its conduct rules. Players gather, build, explore, and develop shared areas, while CoreProtect safeguards construction and the resource world provides a practical outlet for mining and terrain changes.
Progression is self-directed rather than organized around a short seasonal ladder. Players improve tools and supplies, establish protected bases, expand builds, explore named areas, and use the persistent map to keep developing projects over repeated visits.
The server's custom character comes mainly from its persistent built environment and infrastructure. Named locations, metro routes, rail travel, themed districts, and public landmarks give the survival map more structure than an unplanned vanilla world.
Aqualand's map is shaped around recognizable districts and landmarks, including metro stations, an above-ground railway, a commercial port, industrial areas, a school, a cathedral, an underwater tomb, and a resource world. BlueMap provides an interactive view of the current world.
The world includes economy-themed locations such as Cloud Bank, with ATMs and currency exchange, as well as a commercial district and supermarket. Economy features support the broader survival world rather than replacing building, exploration, and resource gathering as the main activity.
Players can use the server's Discord and Telegram group for community contact and support. The server is designed for relaxed multiplayer survival, with an active management team overseeing the world and its protections.
Players are expected to respect others, avoid griefing and trolling, refrain from hacking or exploiting bugs, and avoid spam, advertising, and other disruptive behavior.
Aqualand has no paid gameplay content. Donations are currently shown as paused, and the server describes its funding model as non-profit support for infrastructure.
A resource world provides a separate area for gathering materials without making the primary settlement world the only mining destination.
Aqualand separates destructive mining and gathering from its protected main map through a regularly reset resource world.
Building protection prevents unauthorized block changes and helps preserve player-created structures within designated areas or worlds.
Aqualand safeguards buildings with CoreProtect, retaining block history for one year and supporting restoration or protection requests.
A metro network provides organized underground or urban rail connections between destinations across a Minecraft world.
Aqualand's persistent map includes metro stations connecting named districts and landmarks as part of its established transport infrastructure.
Railway travel uses minecart or rail routes to move players between settlements, districts, landmarks, or other destinations.
An above-ground railway forms part of Aqualand's public infrastructure, linking the long-running survival world beyond individual player bases.
An Interactive World Map lets players inspect the server’s rendered geography, locate settlements, and understand the surrounding world outside Minecraft.
Aqualand provides a live BlueMap for viewing its current world, including persistent districts, routes, and landmarks.

History of Aqualand
Aqualand traces its start to 2013. In early 2020, the server adopted the AQUALAND name and continued as a long-running survival community rather than a short seasonal network.
Its current identity centers on preserving that world over time. The main map remains in place, resource gathering has a separate reset world, and the server maintains block-history retention and recurring backups as the built environment expands.
