Mining produces the server's 聖輝 and 晶淵 materials. Time spent online and creature kills can also produce Ether. These materials can be converted into usable currency and withdrawn into Ether notes for trading.

Progress also comes from building better claims, growing a guild, completing tasks, collecting daily rewards, unlocking custom recipes, and gathering server-specific items. The system favors steady play over a single combat-level ladder.

Brilliant adds a large collection of server-made systems and recipes. These include custom currency items, Ether notes, accessories, followers, guild features, quests or tasks, furniture, desserts, special tools, custom displays, and enhanced equipment recipes.

Quality-of-life features include chain gathering, automatic crafting, automatic sorting, portable storage, shulker previews, armor-stand editing, item naming, claim inspection, block-history searches, elevators, and improved container handling.

The network contains four survival branches with different technical rules and play styles. The main branches focus on convenient survival, while 羽森 is tuned for freer redstone work.

Players can use a dedicated web map, create named land claims, set claim teleport points, and divide large areas into subclaims. The End main island has additional protection rules, and some shared End machinery is managed separately by branch.

Land permissions include a PvP control, so protected areas can be configured for safer building and community use. Unapproved malicious attacks are forbidden. Players should still check the local land settings and branch rules before fighting near another player's base.

The main usable currency is Ether, with separate physical and account-based forms. Players earn currency through mining, online time, and limited creature-kill rewards.

Player shops and container shops support direct trading. Guilds can also maintain shared Ether banks and purchase guild benefits. Cash trading of items, services, accounts, or resources is prohibited.

Events include anniversary gatherings, community photo sessions, limited rewards, seasonal activities, and small-game activities. Recent games include chess, Chinese checkers, BNO, Chinese chess, Taiwanese dark chess, and poker.

Brilliant is built around a Traditional Chinese-speaking community. Discord is the main social hub, with LINE and other social channels also available.

Players share builds, organize guilds, run shops, create public facilities, and take part in building-focused community exchanges. The server has a strong social and architectural side alongside survival progression.

Cheats that modify game data or damage fair play are banned. Exploit use, item duplication, malicious attacks, harassment, sexual harassment, disruptive behavior, theft, griefing, misleading advertising, harmful price manipulation, and cash trading are prohibited.

Redstone and mob farms must stay within branch-specific performance limits. Chance-based player games must disclose their prices, prizes, and odds. Players should protect property with claims, locks, and block-history records when they want to request compensation.

The server uses voluntary sponsorship rather than a conventional commercial sale model. Sponsorship support helps fund operation, hardware, and development.

Cumulative sponsorship rewards can include extra claim capacity, larger claims, lower claim costs, and flight-related benefits. Taiwan payment methods and PayPal for overseas players are available.
