About LusíadasCraft
LusíadasCraft is a Java Survival server built around long-term progress. Players gather resources, take jobs, earn money, complete rankup missions, protect a base, build farms, trade items, and improve their skills.
The server mixes familiar Survival with Portuguese culture, custom fishing, guilds, player warps, special farming areas, custom furniture, seasonal systems, and boss fights. It suits players who enjoy having many goals beyond simply collecting diamonds and building a house.
What Makes It Different
LusíadasCraft feels like Survival with a Portuguese identity rather than a plain plugin bundle. Its folklore-inspired themes, named locations and seasonal stories give the world a sense of place.
It also gives players several different ways to progress. You can build a protected base, run a farm, fish for rare catches, join a guild, fight bosses, follow missions or compete in special events.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claims are a major part of base protection and new-player guidance.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom fish, equipment fragments, seasonal keys, furniture and other non-vanilla items shape the experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, shops, player sales, farming and guild banks make the economy central to progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server's primary and current game mode.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is a persistent social Survival world built around shared player activity.
Start in the lobby, enter Survival, then use `/mundos` to choose the world that fits your goal. The Claims world is for your main base, the Resource world is for materials, and Plots are built for automated farming.
Useful early commands include `/empregos` for jobs, `/rankup` for level goals, `/shop` for the server market, `/olx` for player sales, `/sethome` for a home point and `/warps` for public destinations.
The server rewards both active play and planning. Mining, farming, fishing, combat, exploration and trading can all support different progress paths.
The main progression target is the seasonal rankup. Each level contains missions and rewards, so players always have a clear list of tasks to pursue.
Jobs provide another route to money and rewards. mcMMO adds skill levels to normal actions such as mining, combat, fishing, digging, repair and brewing. Current mcMMO skills can reach level 5000.
Ranks run from Plebeu through Marujo and Mestre to Capitão. Higher ranks unlock more homes, claim blocks, jobs, player warps and convenience commands.
Custom fishing adds rare fish, levels, deliveries, tournaments, upgrades and catches influenced by conditions such as location, biome, time or weather.
Other custom content includes furniture for decorating bases, custom items, specialized mob spawners, minions, automated plot storage, player warps, XP bottles and seasonal keys.
The Exploration season added mcMMO progression, the restored Cabo das Tormentas location and bosses with unique powers, drops and fragments used for powerful equipment.
The network has a lobby leading into Survival and several specialized worlds. Claims is the recommended home-building world, while Plots provides organized land for automated farms.
The Resource world is intended for mining, exploration and gathering, and may reset from time to time. Nether and End areas provide additional dimensions and resources. The server also includes public warps, player warps, the Ilhas Afortunadas farming zone and rotating event worlds.
Claims protect players from PvP inside their protected areas, and owners can use `/trust` to give other players access. Outside protected areas, travel and valuable activities should be treated with greater care.
PvP also appears in special content. Boss fights compete for damage-based rewards, and named community events have included live duels involving Portuguese streamers and players.
The economy uses in-game money earned through jobs, selling resources, fishing, farming, missions, rankup rewards and other activities.
`/shop` handles standard buying and selling, while the OLX system lets players list items directly for prices they choose. Guilds can maintain a shared bank, and plots turn automated farms, storage and spawners into larger business projects.
Cactus farms, spawners and minions are established money-making paths, although seasonal themes can change which activities are most profitable.
Official events have included Easter mines, Portuguese cultural celebrations, seasonal adventures, streamer PvP events, parkour, treasure hunts, TNTRun, TNTTag, BlockParty and quizzes.
Players can also organize small community events with `/organizarevento`, choose an available activity and provide a reward. Only one player-organized event can run at a time, and official staff events take priority.
LusíadasCraft is centered on the Portuguese Minecraft community and uses Portuguese cultural references throughout its identity, locations and events.
Guilds let players form teams, manage roles, share resources, use private chat, maintain a shared bank and compete with other guilds. The Discord provides community chat, announcements, support tickets, events and voting information.
Respect is required in the Minecraft server and Discord. Hacks, cheats, abusive macros, X-Ray, exploit abuse, spam, scams, phishing, griefing, TP traps, ban evasion, impersonation and lag-inducing builds are prohibited.
Players must not create claims too close to other claims without permission. Staff can issue warnings, mutes, kicks, temporary bans, permanent bans, item removals or progress rollbacks. Bugs and exploits should be reported rather than used.
The official store sells time-limited ranks, keys, crates, perks, commands, cosmetics and other digital benefits. Current 30-day ranks include Marujo, Mestre and Capitão at different price levels.
Rank benefits can include extra homes, claim blocks, jobs, player warps, fly and convenience commands. Some rewards and resources can also be earned through gameplay, rankup, voting and events. Store payments are processed through Tebex.

History of LusíadasCraft
The roots of LusíadasCraft go back to the Portuguese Minecraft clan OBAN, which formed on an earlier server around 2020. After changes on that server pushed the group away, OBAN moved through another established Portuguese community and gradually became involved in administration, resets, recovery work, and server development.
The idea for LusíadasCraft began as a private project for the group. Several experienced members combined their resources and decided to open the project to the wider community. Development continued for roughly a month before the server opened on March 10, 2023.
The launch immediately gave the project a clear identity. It was a Portuguese Survival server shaped by OBAN veterans, with cultural references, custom systems, claims, jobs, rankup progress, special items, and an exploration-focused resource world.
During summer 2023, a major seasonal event introduced custom enchants, search missions, and new features over time. The server grew rapidly during that period and reached its early peak as more players joined the Portuguese Survival community.
Growth also exposed limits in the original setup. Large farms, loaded chunks, and higher player activity created performance problems. The project responded with an anti-lag plan that moved toward a multi-server design, followed by months of development and testing.
In November 2024, Survival 1.21 was introduced as the replacement for the older Survival OG mode. The former mode was later closed, and Survival 1.21 became the network's main active game mode under the simpler Survival name.
By 2026, the server had moved into a more seasonal structure. Season 3 brought major changes to plots, rankup and selected resets, while the Exploration season replaced the earlier skill system with mcMMO, restored the Cabo das Tormentas area, and added bosses such as Kriger, the Dark Knight and Medusa.
The 2026 Summer Event expanded the server's adventure side with the World of Awakening, island-based exploration, story missions, navigators, secrets, combat and summer keys. Today, LusíadasCraft remains a community-focused Portuguese Survival network with structured progression, custom content, social systems and rotating seasonal experiences.
