About MineWave
MineWave splits its network between an Earth survival world and a separate OneBlock mode. Earth is the social side: players form teams, claim bases, trade, build towns and decide how much conflict they want.
What Makes It Different
MineWave gives players two very different ways to play: build a nation and trade on Earth, or focus on the tighter progression of OneBlock. The Earth world can support both quiet building and organized team conflict.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
Earth SMP is one of MineWave's two main modes and the central social gameplay experience.
OneBlock is a Minecraft mode built around repeatedly mining one regenerating block to gather resources and advance through phases.
OneBlock is a current primary mode shown in the server MOTD, store and current listings.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claims are central to base protection and directly shape the server's griefing rules.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The network is fundamentally built around survival gameplay rather than minigames.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Team play, building, trading and player-led conflict make the Earth mode an SMP experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Cash, Shells, auction listings and player shops are important Earth systems.
Earth players can join teams, protect bases with claims, use homes and player warps, sell through chest shops, list items in the auction house and take part in duels. The network also uses custom menus and server-made rewards instead of relying only on vanilla interfaces.
Earth progression adds in-game cash, Shells, custom items, crate keys and rank-based perks to the normal survival grind. OneBlock provides a separate progression path for players who prefer a smaller, more focused mode.
MineWave uses custom items, custom GUIs, Shells, crate systems and several key types. Earth store categories include Fairy, Vehicle, Wave, Spawner and Plankton keys, alongside claim blocks and rank packages.
The Earth mode uses custom terrain, custom structures and prebuilt areas rather than being presented as a plain vanilla world. Claims protect owned areas, but they do not make the wider unclaimed world safe from theft or destruction.
PvP is available through duels and dedicated PvP areas. Outside protected areas, griefing and stealing are allowed on unclaimed land more than 15 blocks from another claim. Teleport traps and claim traps are prohibited, and using exploits such as Elytra combat bugs is punishable.
The economy uses in-game cash, Shells, auction listings and player-run chest shops. Shells are also tied to ranks, keys and other network rewards, giving Earth players several ways to trade or spend value.
Events and giveaways are part of the network's community activity. Disrupting an event through sabotage, spam or similar behavior can lead to punishment and exclusion from future events.
English is required in public chat, while other languages may be used in private messages and signs. Discord is the main social and support hub, and the community presents itself as welcoming and LGBTQ+ friendly.
Public chat must remain in English, with harassment, spam, discrimination, sensitive-topic arguments, advertising and staff impersonation prohibited. Macros, autoclickers, X-ray, hacked clients, exploit abuse, duping and large lag machines are also banned. Players must be careful with claim access because claims do not protect against trusted teammates.
The store sells Earth and OneBlock ranks, Shells, keys, claim blocks and Wave subscriptions. Earth rank packages can include in-game cash, Shells, claim blocks, larger team and auction limits, extra homes, chest shops, player warps and utility commands.

History of MineWave
MineWave's Discord community was created on December 28, 2021. By February 2022, the network was being promoted around Earth SMP, OneBlock and Lifesteal, with support for Bedrock players alongside Java users.
By late 2022, MineWave was established as a survival-focused network rather than a single vanilla world. Its public lineup still combined Earth with OneBlock and Lifesteal, while community projects began appearing around the server's worlds during 2023.
In April 2024, MineWave was being run as an all-custom Earth SMP. Lifesteal was still being developed as a planned expansion, showing that the network was experimenting with additional survival formats beyond its Earth foundation.
During 2024 and 2025, the Earth experience was associated with custom world generation, custom structures and prebuilt areas. Team-built nations, trading, peaceful building and player-led wars all became part of the way groups used the world.
In 2026, the network's public lineup centers on Earth and OneBlock on Minecraft 1.21. Claims, custom items, economy tools, crates, duels and cross-platform access now surround the two main modes, while older Lifesteal branding belongs to an earlier stage of MineWave's development.
