Progress comes from collecting resources, working jobs, building a protected base, using shops and auctions, and expanding your player services. Claim blocks, homes, vaults, chest shops, jobs, and flight are also tied to paid rank packages.

Custom items are part of the server's feature set. The network also adds custom claim flags, player warps, rank commands, kits, private vaults, and cosmetic commands beyond standard Minecraft survival.

EarthSMP uses a realistic Earth map at roughly 1:750 scale. Players can settle in recognizable countries and inspect the shared world through the dedicated live map. OneBlock provides a separate progression style built around a single starting block.

PvP details are not clearly defined. Players should not assume that every part of the Earth world is risk-free, especially outside protected land.

The server has an in-game money system with chest shops, auctions, player warps, jobs, and purchasable Gems. Gems can be used for monthly keys or cosmetics, while ranks add economic limits and convenience perks.

PlayHeroMC has an official Discord with support tickets and community discussion. The network is designed for shared building, trading, and cooperation across Java and Bedrock players.

Rules prohibit harassment, threats, doxing, spam, excessive toxicity, inappropriate builds or skins, advertising unrelated to the server, scams, real-money trading between players, cheating, X-ray, autoclickers, exploit abuse, duping, bug abuse, and world downloading. Items lost through normal player actions are not restored; verified bug losses may be returned.

The store sells permanent ranks, rank upgrades, Gems, kits, cosmetics, and other perks. Rank benefits can include claim blocks, flight, homes, vaults, chest shops, jobs, warps, kits, and gameplay commands. Listed rank prices range from $4.99 to $49.99, while Gems are sold in several paid bundles. Store purchases are final.
