About SaltyMC
SaltyMC is a cross-platform Minecraft network centered on Survival SMP, with a separate Earth experience. Players gather resources, build bases, trade with others, and choose whether to join the PvP side of the world. Java and Bedrock players can play together.
Earth gives the network a different setting from its regular Survival world. Each mode has its own rewards and progression, making SaltyMC feel more like a busy public network than a small private SMP. Builders, traders, explorers, and competitive players can all find a place to play.
What Makes It Different

History of SaltyMC
By April 2025, SaltyMC was operating as a Java-and-Bedrock Survival SMP network. From the beginning of its documented history, its identity centered on accessible survival gameplay and shared play across editions.
The network presented itself as a public community rather than a private, whitelist-only world. This gave SaltyMC a broad social focus, with players able to join the same survival environment across Java and Bedrock.
As the network developed, its main Survival experience gained a dedicated server-store structure. Survival received its own ranks, Pearls currency, crate products, and other optional extras.
These additions shaped progression and customization around the central Survival mode. The Survival crate category also presented its products as non-RNG items, keeping them distinct from random reward systems.
Earth later became a separate part of the network rather than simply another name for standard Survival. It introduced its own setting, separate ranks, and a Coins currency.
By 2026, SaltyMC had settled into a two-part identity. Survival remained the familiar SMP focused on building, trading, and social play, while Earth offered a different world concept.
The network's current identity combines cross-platform access with mode-specific progression. Its public community now spans the established Survival experience and the distinct Earth offering.
