About MCFun Network
MCFun Network is a Java-and-Bedrock server network built around three different ways to play. Survival SMP gives you claims, jobs and an economy in a normal overworld. Earth SMP shifts the same style of play onto an Earth map, where territory and trade matter more.
Skyblock provides a separate island grind with missions, custom generators and leaderboards. The network also has expanded modes such as Block-Storm Survival and KitPvP, giving players a more combat-heavy option alongside the main survival worlds.
What Makes It Different
MCFun puts a regular claimed SMP, an Earth-map survival mode and Skyblock under one network. You can switch from building a protected base to running an island or competing for territory without changing servers.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
Earth SMP uses a map based on the real-world Earth.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is a primary network mode with missions and generators.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claim protection is a defining Survival and Earth SMP mechanic.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.

Start in Survival SMP, Earth SMP or Skyblock. Survival and Earth use claims, jobs and an economy, while Skyblock replaces the normal world with custom islands, missions and generators. The wider network also includes more specialized modes such as KitPvP and Block-Storm Survival.
Survival progression comes from earning money through jobs, trading and building up claimed land. Earth SMP adds the long-term goal of expanding across an Earth-shaped map. Skyblock progression is tied to missions, island development, generators and leaderboard competition.
Skyblock includes custom islands, missions, generators, dungeons and custom enchants. Block-Storm Survival has been offered with custom enchants, elite mobs and custom mobs. Cobblemon was planned as a modded mode requiring a modpack.
Survival SMP uses a large overworld for building, exploration and claimed bases. Earth SMP uses a map based on the real-world Earth, making location and territory more important. Skyblock uses separate player islands instead of a shared overworld.
KitPvP provides dedicated always-on combat with kits. Survival rules prohibit teleport traps, exploit kills and combat abuse, but unclaimed or distant areas can still be risky because griefing and stealing are allowed away from protected claim boundaries.
Survival and Earth SMP use jobs, trading and an in-game economy. Claim blocks are part of the protection system, and the web store sells additional claim blocks and other premium items.
Events and giveaways are part of the network's community activity. Disrupting an event can lead to stronger punishment and exclusion from future events or giveaways.
The network uses Discord for support and community contact. Public chat is English-only, while private messages and signs can use other languages when appropriate. The server is presented as family-friendly.
Public chat must stay in English, and harassment, discrimination, excessive spam, sensitive-topic arguments, inappropriate builds or names, advertising and staff impersonation are prohibited. Macros, autoclickers, x-ray, hacked clients, exploit abuse, duping and large lag machines are banned. Coordinates, performance mods, shaders and several HUD mods are allowed, but player tracers and minimaps are not. Griefing or stealing within 15 blocks of another player's claim is prohibited; unclaimed areas remain more exposed.
MCFun is free to play and has a web store for premium items and claim blocks. A 5,000-claim-block package was listed for $12.99. Players have also been offered free ways to earn premium items through gameplay.

History of MCFun Network
MCFun was running by May 9, 2026, with a network lineup that included EarthSMP, Block-Storm Survival, SkyBlock and KitPvP. Towny Forever Earth and a Cobblemon server were also planned as additional modes, with Cobblemon requiring a modpack.
The network's main design combined familiar survival gameplay with server systems that create longer-term goals. Land claims, jobs and economy features appeared across the survival-focused modes, while Skyblock added missions, generators, dungeons and custom enchants.
By August 29, 2026, the public network had centered its main presentation on Survival SMP, Skyblock and Earth SMP. Players could join Java or Bedrock through the network's shared connection system, with the Earth and Survival modes emphasizing protected building, trade and territorial play.
