About PlanetSMP.com
PlanetSMP turns Survival into a shared Earth-building game. The world follows a 1:1000 map of real continents, countries, and oceans, so cities and bases have a real geographic setting instead of a normal random seed.
Players can protect territory with claims, earn money through jobs, trade through the market, and use RTP to find a new starting point. A separate farm world handles resource gathering, while custom mobs, airdrops, and events add danger and activity beyond standard vanilla Survival.
What Makes It Different
The map gives ordinary Survival a real-world shape. Where you settle matters because players build cities, protect territory, trade, and compete across recognizable continents.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
The defining world is a 1:1000 real-world Earth map.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Territory claims are a major protection and settlement mechanic.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The experience is a shared multiplayer Survival world built around settlements and player interaction.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is explicitly presented as a Survival server.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, money, trading, and a market system are central mechanics.
Explore the Earth map, choose a place to settle, and build inside a claimed area. Use RTP when you want a different starting location. Gather resources in the separate farm world, then return to the main map to develop your base or city.
Jobs provide a way to earn money while playing. The market lets you turn gathered items and production into cash for future purchases. Progress is tied to building up your territory, improving your economy, and taking advantage of airdrops and custom-mob rewards.
Custom mobs create encounters beyond standard Minecraft enemies. Airdrops add valuable rewards that appear across the world and encourage players to travel or compete for them.
The main world is a 1:1000 Earth map with real continents, countries, and oceans. A separate farm world provides a dedicated place for resource gathering. The live map shows the world and player-built locations in real time.
PvP is part of the server's Survival setup, alongside claims and faction-style nation building. Protected territory matters, but players who want conflict can still compete over influence, resources, and control.
The economy uses jobs and a player-facing market system. Players can earn money from selected work and trade items based on their market value.
Airdrops and server events provide timed activities and reward opportunities beyond normal Survival play.
Players can use the official Discord for community chat, announcements, support, and help. In-game cooperation can include building cities, forming nations, trading, and competing with other groups.
Access is free to play with a valid copy of Minecraft.
