About MineTexas Anarchy
Spawn is a liability on MineTexas Anarchy. Move away from danger, gather vanilla resources, hide what matters and decide whether other players are allies, trading partners or targets. The server is a semi-vanilla survival world with no gameplay-changing plugins, an anything-goes playstyle and a permanent map where ordinary Minecraft progress takes place under constant social threat.
What Makes It Different
The permanent world is MineTexas Anarchy's clearest point of difference. The server has vowed not to reset, so old bases, damaged terrain, travel routes and player-made history can remain part of the same survival landscape while new players try to establish themselves in territory shaped by earlier conflicts.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
MineTexas is explicitly presented as an anything-goes anarchy server with few enforced gameplay restrictions and player-controlled conflict.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Players are explicitly allowed to raid bases and target other players’ supplies, making base defense and concealment important.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
The server is described as semi-vanilla with no gameplay-changing plugins, keeping progression close to ordinary Minecraft survival.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Open-world player-versus-player combat is central to survival, travel, alliances, and conflict on the server.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
MineTexas has a stated no-reset commitment, allowing bases, damaged terrain, routes, and player history to remain in one world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather vanilla resources, craft equipment, build bases, explore, and maintain infrastructure while facing hostile players and ordinary Minecraft hazards.
Leave spawn before it becomes a liability, gather resources and build somewhere other players will struggle to find. From there, players can explore, cooperate, trade informally, betray allies, raid bases or fight over what they have built. The server's semi-vanilla design keeps the focus on ordinary Minecraft survival and player decisions rather than a large menu of scripted systems.
Progression follows vanilla Minecraft resources, equipment and infrastructure. There is no advertised class, skill or rank-up progression changing the survival loop, and the Anarchy page presents the server as having no gameplay-changing plugins.
MineTexas Anarchy is presented as semi-vanilla with no gameplay-changing Minecraft plugins. The current endpoint reports Paper 1.21.5, while the advertised player experience remains close to standard survival Minecraft.
The Anarchy world is intended to remain permanent rather than being periodically reset. Spawn is explicitly unsafe, making early travel and concealment important, while the long-lived map allows older builds, ruins, routes and player conflicts to remain part of the landscape.
Open-world PvP is central to the server. Raiding and griefing are allowed, and the lack of server-enforced gameplay rules means bases, supplies and alliances are exposed to other players. The server warns that players will notice and respond to what others do and who they target.
The semi-vanilla setup leaves trade largely in players' hands. Resources, services, protection, information and alliances can all become valuable, but the available Anarchy description does not present a formal currency, jobs system or protected administrative marketplace.
MineTexas presents the network as a community server with Discord-based support. On Anarchy, the most distinctive community activity is expected to emerge through alliances, rivalries, hidden bases, player settlements and conflicts rather than scheduled seasons or formal events.
Ordinary gameplay is intentionally unrestricted, including raiding and griefing. MineTexas can still restrict access for illegal activity, Minecraft EULA or Microsoft Services Agreement violations, including doxxing, connecting bots or scraping chat data without permission.
MineTexas Plus is sold as a support rank intended not to provide a gameplay advantage. Iron Plus is listed at $5 per month and Gold Plus at $15 per month, with colored names, a chat plus sign, badges and additional cosmetic access such as trails and pets. Individual pets start at $5 and do not expire. The network also accepts donations for sponsored server time, cryptocurrency, mailed payments and merchandise.
Unprotected bases are player-built homes or storage sites without systems preventing others from entering, damaging, or taking their contents.
MineTexas offers no protected claims or guaranteed base safety; raids and griefing can expose player-built bases, supplies, and infrastructure.
Griefing is player-caused damage, theft, or disruption to another player's build, base, or stored resources where server rules permit it.
Griefing is explicitly allowed, so players may damage or alter player-made structures and terrain as part of unrestricted conflict.
Players exchange items or services directly through negotiated deals rather than relying on a centralized marketplace or fixed economy.
Trade remains informal, with players exchanging resources, services, protection, or information rather than using an advertised currency or administrative marketplace.
A dangerous spawn makes the starting area a significant threat, requiring players to leave, hide, or defend themselves before settling.
MineTexas presents spawn as a liability, with players expected to leave quickly because conflict and hostile player activity make the area unsafe.

History of MineTexas Anarchy
Before MineTexas Anarchy, MineTexasPVP operated as a whitelist-only server where Ataranlen and several other players built and tested ideas. As that server gave way to newer work, MineTexas Anarchy was created as a more open destination.
Its early history was shaped by conflict around spawn. PenisEnvy built a skybase nearby and used a lavacast to overwhelm the protected spawn area, making the area difficult to access and killing players caught inside it. After the incident, a small player-built aid platform appeared near the coast with supplies and directions for new arrivals.
Ablapo, Baumeister_Sonic, masterdpx and P0x0q later formed the Hidden Path, building bases, farms, caches and a concealed underground railway around spawn. The group eventually lost its secrecy when its connected bases were discovered and compromised.
