About MagnoliaMC
MagnoliaMC is a survival world built for players who enjoy building, exploring, trading, and making long-term projects. Start with random teleport, claim a place to live, set homes, and join other players through teams, shops, and shared activities.
Its standout systems add choice without turning survival into a race. Seven Affinities change how you gather, fight, travel, farm, trade, or explore, while the community-funded Magnolia Tree unlocks new possibilities for everyone. PvP is opt-in, so the server suits social players who still want a dedicated place for combat.
What Makes It Different
MagnoliaMC lets each player choose a different survival style through Affinities. Every path has useful powers, bonuses, drawbacks, and its own skill tree.
The whole community also works toward the same goal through the Magnolia Tree. A miner, farmer, trader, builder, or fighter can all help unlock rewards for everyone.
Classes let players choose a defined gameplay role that changes how they approach combat, exploration, survival, or teamwork.
The seven Affinities function as distinct playstyle paths with skills, bonuses, and drawbacks.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Players are expected to claim and manage protected building areas.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players build, trade, form teams, and share a persistent multiplayer survival experience.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a long-term survival world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Dollars, Petals, shops, an Auction House, buy orders, and player commerce are central systems.
Use `/rtp` to find a place in the wilderness, then claim your land before building anything valuable. Homes, warps, teleport requests, and team homes make it easier to move between bases and shared projects.
The main loop is familiar survival: gather resources, build, explore, trade, and improve your gear. The server adds Affinity abilities, quests, voting rewards, cosmetics, tree-felling, and community events.
Choose one of seven Affinities: Arcanist, Sentinel, Naturalist, Merchant, Wayfarer, Elementalist, or Vanguard. Each path has an active ability, passive bonuses, drawbacks, quests, and a six-node skill tree.
Affinity XP raises your rank and grants skill points and Petals. The Magnolia Tree adds shared progression, with players contributing Petals to unlock wider server rewards and new content.
The Affinity system is MagnoliaMC's main custom gameplay feature. It changes familiar survival tasks through active abilities, passive effects, drawbacks, quests, and skill trees.
The server also uses a resource pack for custom cosmetics, wraps, and placeable decorations. Crates can contain wearable cosmetics, decorative items, and seasonal enchanted armor.
The Overworld is the main place for building, trading, and exploration. The Nether, the End, new structures, and seasonal content are tied to the current stage of the Magnolia Tree.
Players can travel with spawn points, random teleport, warps, homes, and team homes. A dedicated public live map was not established.
PvP is opt-in through `/pvp`. Players can fight in the designated PvP arena, while non-consensual attacks and teleport traps intended to harm someone are forbidden.
Vanguard is the combat-focused Affinity. It improves melee damage against players and gives combat progression, but also increases danger from mobs and the environment.
MagnoliaMC uses Dollars for normal trading and Petals for special progression rewards, cosmetics, and Tree contributions. Players can sell items, use the server shop, trade through the Auction House, place buy orders, and create chest shops.
Shopping districts and player warps help turn builds into real destinations. Rank limits affect the number of homes, shops, warps, and listings available to a player.
MagnoliaMC hosts seasonal content, competitions, community events, and relaxed social activities. Events can provide rewards and give builders, traders, explorers, and casual players ways to take part outside normal survival.
Players connect through teams, alliances, private team chat, player warps, shops, mail, private messages, and Discord. The community also shares progress through the Magnolia Tree.
Discord provides event updates, support tickets, purchase help, claim support, and bug reporting.
English is required in public chat. Harassment, discrimination, direct insults, unsafe links, inappropriate content, doxxing threats, and disruptive behavior are prohibited.
Griefing, stealing, scamming, non-consensual killing, exploits, hacked clients, automation, and unfair mods are banned. Large lag-causing farms may be removed. Do not build or claim within 100 blocks of another player's area without consent, and inactive claims may be reviewed after 50 or more days.
The official store sells ranks, Petals, crate keys, cosmetics, and seasonal items. Ranks focus on cosmetics and quality-of-life tools rather than combat, resource, or progression advantages.
One-time ranks are permanent, while subscription benefits last only during the subscription. Voting provides a free way to earn rewards and support the server.

History of MagnoliaMC
MagnoliaMC entered public view in late May and early June 2026 under the mxgically project identity. Its first clear public identity was a Java-and-Bedrock survival SMP focused on a cozy community atmosphere rather than a network of separate minigames.
The server's design centers on ordinary survival activities with added structure. Players can claim land, form teams, run shops, use an Auction House, and choose how they want to develop their character through Affinities. The seven paths cover magic, defense, farming, trading, movement, mining, and melee combat.
Magnolia's shared progression is built around the Magnolia Tree. Players contribute Petals toward stages that can open new world access, server-wide rewards, structures, events, festivals, and seasonal content. This gives individual survival work a community-wide purpose.
Today, MagnoliaMC remains a long-term survival world with crossplay support, player-run commerce, protected building areas, opt-in PvP, custom cosmetics, skill trees, quests, and a strong emphasis on cooperative play.
