About WaffleSMP
WaffleSMP is a relaxed survival SMP built around building with other players instead of racing through a reset-heavy season. Land claims protect long-term builds, while player shops and auction listings give the world a small-town trading feel. Java and Bedrock players share the same server.
Teams, homes, warps, chest shops, kits, crate keys, cosmetics, and a coin shop add more to do than plain survival. Community events and server-wide drop parties give players extra reasons to return.

History of WaffleSMP
By December 2025, WaffleSMP was running as a family-friendly survival SMP with Java and Bedrock access, land claims, a player economy, and community events. Its early connection details used separate .org addresses for Java and Bedrock players.
The network later adopted the wafflesmp.gg setup now used for player access. Java connects through play.wafflesmp.gg, while Bedrock uses the same host on port 19132. The simpler shared address fits the server's crossplay focus.
As the server developed, it added a larger set of tools for long-term survival play. Teams, homes, player warps, auction listings, chest shops, vaults, and flight options became part of the way players build and trade.
By 2026, WaffleSMP also had permanent rank tiers, kits, coins, crate keys, cosmetics, and custom player tags. These additions gave the server a more complete economy without moving it away from its relaxed SMP foundation.
Today, WaffleSMP combines claimed bases, player-run shops, auction trading, social building, and community events in one crossplay survival world. It is aimed at players looking for a friendly home server with useful extras around the usual Minecraft grind.
