About LoungeSMP
LoungeSMP is built for players who want a survival world they can settle into instead of replacing every few months. Java and Bedrock players share one semi-vanilla world with protected land, Keep Inventory, a player economy, jobs, shops, community events, and relaxed progression.
What Makes It Different
LoungeSMP combines a low-pressure survival setup with a world intended to last. Keep Inventory reduces the cost of mistakes, PvP is optional rather than forced, and land claims protect the bases, farms, shops, and towns that give the persistent world its character.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Six professions provide money, job XP, skill-tree rewards, and quests, with players able to maintain multiple active jobs.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
LoungeSMP retains ordinary survival progression while adding claims, jobs, shops, warps, events, and other supporting systems.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The world is designed without routine resets, preserving player bases, towns, roads, farms, shops, and shared builds over time.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering resources, building, farming, exploration, crafting, and ordinary Minecraft progression form the main gameplay loop.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server centers on multiplayer survival in a shared world where players build bases, towns, farms, shops, and community projects.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, resource sales, player shops, the Auction House, and direct trading make money and commerce important to survival progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected claims secure player bases, farms, storage, pets, shops, and shared builds from unwanted interference.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Players can operate shops and sell resources through a player-run market that supports the wider survival economy.
The main experience is ordinary Minecraft survival with quality-of-life systems around it. Gather resources, build a base, explore, farm, travel through player warps, and join nearby towns or community builds. Land claims protect important areas, while Keep Inventory keeps deaths from wiping out carried equipment.
Jobs turn normal survival actions into money and job XP. The current job system includes Woodcutter, Miner, Farmer, Ranger, Artisan, and Builder, with up to three jobs active at once. Job levels unlock skill-tree rewards, and job quests provide extra money, XP, and crate keys.
The custom layer stays close to survival. Jobs add XP, skill trees, quests, and special rewards, while claims, warps, voting rewards, crates, ranks, and event minigames support the core world rather than replacing ordinary gathering, building, and exploration.
The world is designed for long-term survival with no routine resets. Player bases, towns, farms, roads, shops, and community builds remain part of the landscape, giving established areas a sense of continuity while new players can still claim space and start fresh.
PvP is toggle-based and off by default, so players can build, trade, explore, and develop towns without being forced into combat. The server is not aimed at anarchy-style conflict or constant fighting.
Players can earn through jobs, sell resources through the Server Shop, and trade directly through player shops or the Auction House. Player-run markets give builders, farmers, miners, and collectors ways to turn ordinary survival work into longer-term projects.
Weekly events include build competitions, community activities, and custom minigames. Spleef and Parkour are among the event formats associated with the server, giving players short activities alongside the persistent survival world.
The server is organized around player towns, shops, shared builds, trading, and regular conversation. Discord provides announcements, support, reports, and community help, while the in-game world gives players reasons to meet through public warps, markets, and shared projects.
Griefing, theft, abusive claiming, cheating, x-ray, duping, exploits, lag machines, harassment, hate, scams, and inappropriate content are prohibited. Chat and usernames must remain PG-13, and staff can intervene when behavior harms fairness, performance, or the wider community.
The official store sells Member, Elite, and Supreme ranks, rank upgrades, cosmetics such as tags, balloons, and wearables, plus keyall crate bundles. Elite includes permanent claim flight and additional room for homes, shops, warps, and building.
Toggleable PvP lets players enable or disable their participation in direct player combat according to server rules.
PvP begins disabled on LoungeSMP, allowing players to opt into combat while building, trading, exploring, and developing towns.
Job skill trees provide branching or tiered upgrades that improve abilities or rewards within chosen professions.
Job levels in Woodcutter, Miner, Farmer, Ranger, Artisan, and Builder unlock skill-tree rewards.
Keep inventory preserves a player’s carried items after death, reducing the ordinary survival penalty for dying.
LoungeSMP keeps players' carried equipment after death, reducing the cost of mistakes during relaxed survival play.
Job quests are tracked objectives tied to professions, rewarding players for completing specified work-related tasks.
LoungeSMP's job quests provide additional money, job XP, and crate keys alongside normal profession activity.
A multiple-job system lets players hold several professions simultaneously and benefit from more than one activity track.
Players may keep up to three of LoungeSMP's six listed jobs active at the same time.
An auction house lets players list items for sale and buy goods through a shared market interface.
LoungeSMP includes an Auction House alongside direct trading, player shops, and the centralized Server Shop.
An in-game shop where players exchange gathered or earned resources for useful items, services, or progression-related goods.
LoungeSMP's Server Shop lets players sell gathered resources for money alongside player shops and the Auction House.
Build competitions are organized contests where players create structures or scenes and are compared through judging, voting, or achievement criteria.
Weekly LoungeSMP events include build competitions alongside community activities and custom minigames.
Player towns are community settlements where players organize homes, shared spaces, and development around a common local identity.
Player towns, roads, farms, shopping areas, and shared builds persist as part of LoungeSMP's developing landscape.
Direct Player Trading lets players exchange resources, equipment, or supplies with one another through player-negotiated transactions.
Players can trade directly on LoungeSMP in addition to using player shops, the Auction House, and the Server Shop.
Player Warps let players create publicly accessible destinations for shops, bases, services, or community locations across the server world.
Public player warps connect LoungeSMP's towns, markets, builds, and other community destinations.

History of LoungeSMP
The public LoungeSMP community dates to December 10, 2025. By spring 2026, the server had established its Java-and-Bedrock survival format around claims, Keep Inventory, jobs, shops, warps, weekly events, and PvP that starts off by default.
As the world developed, player towns, shopping areas, roads, farms, and shared builds became part of the long-term landscape. On August 29, 2026, the Overworld and Nether borders were expanded, opening room for new settlements without replacing existing progress. LoungeSMP continues to build around that persistent-world model.
