Need City is a big American-style city built inside Minecraft, and on GTAMINE you play one character in it. You shape your look in a character editor, then pick a side: the Government, the Police, the Hospital or the Bandits. Each faction has its own building, tasks and ranks. Police can clear a player's wanted level, while the other side of town plans bank robberies.
Dozens of cars, from Mercedes and BMW to police Dodges, drive with GTA-style controls. You can own a home, run a business and work through a Battle Pass. GTAMINE is Russian-speaking, runs on Java Edition and has a built-in minimap that needs no mods.
What Makes It Different
Instead of a survival world, you get a full city roleplay with modelled cars, homes, businesses and four factions, all playable in normal Minecraft Java without mods.

You make a character, pick one of four factions and take on its tasks during your shift. Faction members can rob a bank branch, and a failed robbery now has its own ending.
Factions have ranks, and higher ranks unlock more powers, like clearing a wanted level. The Battle Pass gives one reward a day for logging in, with the Grotti Cheetah car at level 100.
Cars are custom models with their own driving physics. The autumn 2026 update added crafting with special materials, also available from faction storage.
Need City is styled as a US city, with an airport, faction buildings and housing such as the Imperial Park apartment block. An online map shows the city's territories and who controls them.
The team runs themed events, such as Street Races in September 2026 and a Phasmophobia-style ghost hunt for Halloween 2026.
Free to join. The store sells privileges, and the in-game accessory shop sells cosmetic items.
You can buy a home, from simple flats to the Imperial Park block, and run your own business in the city.

Season I started on 30 August 2026, with a daily login reward and the Grotti Cheetah car at level 100.

History of GTAMINE
GTAMINE celebrates its birthday on 22 March 2020. At the end of 2023 the team held GTAMINE AWARDS for the year's top players and gave a first look at a new city map. A wipe in April 2024 opened a fresh build of San Francisco.
Work paused later in 2024, and the team spent the next stretch rebuilding the roleplay mode. Dev diaries in spring 2026 showed off homes, businesses and cars, and a closed beta ran in May 2026.
The new Need City opened on 15 July 2026. Season I of the Battle Pass and the online map arrived on 30 August 2026, and the autumn update on 17 October 2026 added crafting.
