About Craft of Clans
Craft of Clans turns Minecraft into a village-and-raiding strategy game. Players start on an island, build and upgrade a base, generate gold and amethyst, train mob armies, and attack other villages while their owners are offline. The current server is running as Beta 1.0, with clan play and a separate MobPVP arena alongside the main base-building loop.
What Makes It Different
The server combines persistent village management with asynchronous raiding. Your base keeps working as a defensive target while you are offline, and attacks are carried out through trained mobs instead of a standard faction-war format. The separate MobPVP arena adds direct free-for-all combat without replacing the strategic base game.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Players send trained mob armies against offline villages to steal gold and amethyst, making raids central to progression and defense.
Clans are player-organized teams that cooperate under a shared name, membership, and allegiance.
Clans support cooperation, donations, shared growth and coordinated participation in the server’s village strategy systems.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Gold and amethyst are generated, collected, earned through activities and raids, then spent on village and army upgrades.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
The server includes a dedicated MobPVP arena with kit-based free-for-all combat and a last-mob-standing objective.
Players develop an island village by placing resource buildings, storage, cannons, towers, and other structures. Gold Mines and Amethyst Extractors provide the main resources, while the village layout determines how well the base can protect its stores. Players can also enter the MobPVP arena, choose a kit, and fight in last-mob-standing matches.
Progress comes from upgrading buildings, expanding the village layout, improving the mob spawner, and unlocking additional mobs for raids and MobPVP. Resource gains from mining, foraging, and successful attacks fund larger upgrades, while the trophy leaderboard gives competitive players a longer-term target.
Craft of Clans adds a custom strategy layer through village buildings, resource extractors, mob armies, upgrade systems, defensive structures, trophies, and the MobPVP arena. The gameplay is delivered through server-side development without requiring client-side Minecraft mods.
The main play space is organized around individual island villages. Each island is a personal base to expand, arrange, and defend rather than a conventional survival settlement spread across a shared wilderness map.
PvP is split between asynchronous village raids and the MobPVP arena. Raids target offline players and aim to steal gold and amethyst, while MobPVP uses kits and free-for-all rounds where the final surviving mob wins.
Gold and amethyst are the main progression resources. Players generate them through village buildings, collect extra supplies from daily mining and foraging minigames, and win more through raids. Spending is focused on buildings, defenses, storage, mob spawners, and army upgrades.
Clans let players cooperate, donate to one another, and grow together. Group play is most useful for players who want to coordinate upgrades, support clan members, and compete as part of a larger community rather than manage a village entirely alone.
Asynchronous raids let players attack settlements while their owners are away, shifting defense toward preparation and base design.
Trained mob armies can attack offline villages and steal gold and amethyst while the targeted owner is not playing.
Mob armies are trained groups of creatures used to attack opponents or participate in specialized combat gameplay.
Players train mob armies for village raids, with the army system also connecting to the separate MobPVP experience.
Base defenses are structures arranged to protect stored resources and make an owned settlement harder to attack.
Players place cannons, towers and other defenses around their island villages to protect stored gold and amethyst from raids.
Island villages are individual elevated bases that players arrange, expand, and develop as their main strategic home.
Each player starts with an individual island village that can be expanded and arranged with production, storage and defensive structures.
Building upgrades improve a settlement's capabilities, capacity, protection, or resource production through successive investment.
Gold and amethyst fund upgrades to village buildings, storage, defenses, mob spawners and related infrastructure.
Specialized buildings passively or actively produce resources that support construction, upgrades, armies, or other progression systems.
Gold Mines and Amethyst Extractors generate the server’s two main resources, which players collect and spend on village development.
Progression unlocks additional creature types or combat units, expanding the available options for attacks or arena battles.
Improving the mob spawner and progressing through the village system unlocks additional mobs for raids and MobPVP.
Leaderboards track competitive achievements or trophies, giving players a persistent way to compare results and pursue higher rankings.
Successful attacks and other competitive progress contribute to trophy-based leaderboard goals for players seeking long-term comparison.
Clan donations let members transfer resources or support to teammates, strengthening cooperative group progression.
Clans allow members to donate to each other and grow together while supporting their village-strategy progression.
Recurring daily activities provide additional opportunities to gather resources outside the primary production or combat progression loop.
Daily mining and foraging minigames provide extra supplies that players can use to fund village and army upgrades.

History of Craft of Clans
Craft of Clans began development in June 2022 as a base-building strategy game designed to run inside an unmodded Minecraft server. Its long-term design centers on player villages, mob-based attacks, upgrades, and leaderboards rather than ordinary survival progression.
The current public server entered its Beta 1.0 phase in August 2026. That release presents the main village system, offline raiding, MobPVP, clans, and daily resource minigames as a playable network.
