About Forgotten SMP
Forgotten SMP is a survival world set in Vespera, a realm that lost its name and much of its memory. Gather resources, build a home, claim land, trade with other players, and help shape a settlement.
What Makes It Different
Forgotten SMP lets the story grow from player-made lands and characters instead of forcing everyone through one script. You can play relaxed survival, or help build the history of Vespera.
Roleplay is Minecraft gameplay where players act as characters in a shared fictional world and make choices from those characters’ perspectives.
Players can create characters, write personal histories, and participate in an unfolding D&D-style setting.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The Chronicle, atlas, settlement histories, and named characters give player activity a lasting place in the world.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
The server uses a chunk-based Lands system to protect and expand player settlements.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival gathering, building, exploration, and long-term world progression form the main experience.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is a shared multiplayer survival world built around community activity.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Banks, taxes, Gold, shops, and player trading are central supporting systems.
Start with normal survival tasks such as gathering materials, building, farming, and exploring. Land claims protect player builds, while homes, teleport commands, shops, banks, and workbench commands make travel and daily work easier. The shared world also supports player-run settlements and larger community projects.
Settlements grow through named stages such as Outpost, Homestead, Hamlet, Village, and Town. Renown tracks the legacy of lands and nations, with recorded measures connected to Valor, Diplomacy, Intrigue, and Legacy. Players can also build a character history through the Chronicle.
The main custom layer is the living Chronicle. It records player characters, epithets, Lands, Nations, Renown, alliances, wars, discoveries, and major events. The Vespera setting adds its own history through the Great Reset, the Weave, relics, lost civilizations, and the mystery of Atlas.
Vespera includes the Surface, Nether, and End. Its setting features ancient ruins, abandoned cities, old castles, broken gateways, hidden vaults, and the Great Willow at Capital Willow. A dedicated BlueMap provides an interactive view of the world.
The server has banks, player shops, taxes, and a premium Gold currency. Non-Plus players pay a 3% deposit and withdrawal tax at the bank. Shops are available in the market area, while paid ranks add remote access and larger shop limits.
Weekly events are part of the server's social rhythm, while new Chronicle entries add fresh story beats as lands and characters change.
Players can create characters, found Lands, grow settlements, join larger Nations, write lore, and take part in shared alliances. The Chronicle and atlas give community projects a lasting place in the world.
Forgotten SMP offers optional monthly Plus and Super ranks. Their perks include extra homes, faster travel, remote bank and shop access, expanded land limits, larger shop limits, cosmetic options, daily Gold, and other convenience features. Gold bundles are also sold separately.

History of Forgotten SMP
Forgotten SMP was running by April 15, 2026, with a lore-driven survival premise built around a world that had mysteriously restarted. Players could follow the unfolding story or simply enjoy ordinary survival play.
A new era arrived with FSMP 2.0 on August 22, 2026. The setting gained a stronger identity through Vespera, an interactive atlas, a Chronicle, and a growing record of player characters and settlements.
Vespera's central myth is the Great Reset. An ancient system called the Weave once connected magic, relics, portals, and the world's three realms. When it broke, civilizations vanished and living people lost their memories. Survivors began again among ruins, abandoned cities, and forgotten machines.
The new world quickly developed its own social structure. Players raised Lands from small camps into larger settlements, earned Renown, created characters, and built identities around villages, homesteads, outposts, and towns. Capital Willow and the Great Willow became important landmarks in the setting's shared history.
On August 23 and 24, many settlements crossed their first growth thresholds. Some were new foundations, while others represented attempts to rebuild places that had fallen before. The early Chronicle focused on rising banners, returning builders, and the first signs of alliances and rivalries.
By August 25, the story had expanded beyond settlement growth. Characters arrived with personal mysteries, curses, lost memories, unusual gifts, and competing explanations for the Reset. Lands such as Wraith, Celestia, and 7EyedEel began to develop distinct identities through player-written history.
On August 26, the world continued filling with new lands and characters. TheHoard reached Town, alliances began forming, ancient cities were explored, and a Warden encounter added danger to the growing record. Forgotten SMP now combines shared survival, settlement building, optional roleplay, and a world that keeps turning player actions into history.
