About CobbleGalaxy
CobbleGalaxy blends Minecraft survival with a full Pokémon adventure. Explore, catch Pokémon, breed stronger teams, build a base, and protect your land with claims. Hunts, Pokédex milestones, player warps, and daily rewards give you goals beyond mining and building.
Battles are a major part of the server. Collect Mega Evolution gear, use Z-Crystals, challenge player-run gyms, enter tournaments, and trade Pokémon through GTS or sell extras through STS. It suits players who want both a home and a team to train.
What Makes It Different
Its gym challenge is run by real players instead of only NPCs. Each type can have its own leader, arena, puzzle, and battle style, so the community helps shape the Pokémon journey.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.
Pokémon collection, breeding, battles, gyms, and Cobblemon modpack play define the server.
Modded Minecraft servers use game mods to add or change mechanics, content, or progression beyond the unmodified game.
The server requires a dedicated Fabric modpack built around Cobblemon and server-specific additions.
Competitive Minecraft gameplay centers on outperforming other players in contests with a clear winner, score, or relative result.
Player gyms and tournaments give team building and Pokémon battles a central competitive role.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players explore, gather resources, build bases, and survive in an open Minecraft world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The experience is centered on shared survival, player projects, trading, and community activities.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Pokédollars, GTS, STS, player warps, shops, voting, and trade are important parts of progression.
Begin by exploring the survival world, catching Pokémon, gathering resources, and building a protected home. Use `/hunt` to receive Pokémon targets and earn Hunt EXP, Hunt Points, Pokédollars, and PokéBuilder Tokens. Public player warps also let you visit community shops, bases, farms, and landmarks.
Progress comes from several tracks at once. Complete hunts to unlock harder targets and milestone rewards. Fill the Pokédex to earn rewards at completion milestones. Breed compatible Pokémon in Pasture Blocks, then improve their IVs, EVs, levels, natures, abilities, or other traits with PokéBuilder Tokens. Gym victories award badges, while daily and calendar rewards provide regular supplies.
CobbleGalaxy adds Mega Evolution, Z-Crystals, rideable Pokémon, Pokémon bosses, PokéBuilder editing, Pokédex and shiny-dex rewards, chat tags, Pokémon plushies, rotating TMs, vote parties, and server-specific menus. Mega Evolution works during battles and can be used once per battle.
The main experience is survival exploration with wild Pokémon, rare spawns, boss Pokémon, claimable building areas, and community landmarks. Claims can be resized, renamed, deleted, and divided into subzones. Players can grant different permissions to friends inside their claims.
Competitive play focuses on Pokémon battles. The server has player-run gyms covering all 18 Pokémon types, with one win available against each leader during a season. Official tournaments use restrictions such as Sleep, Species, Evasion, OHKO, and Timer clauses, along with bans on selected moves, items, abilities, and illegal Pokémon.
Pokédollars support the player economy. Use GTS to trade Pokémon with other players, or use STS to sell unwanted Pokémon instantly for less than a player trade might bring. Pokédollars also pay for player warps and rotating TM-shop items. Voting, hunts, crates, and Pokédex rewards provide additional money and useful items.
Players can take part in official Pokémon tournaments, build competitions, player-gym seasons, and server-wide vote parties. A vote party gives online players a bonus key and temporarily increases shiny spawn odds.
The server has a Discord community, public player warps, player-run gyms, shared hunts, trading, and community-built locations. Gym leadership gives players a direct role in creating challenges for other trainers.
Public chat must remain respectful, and English is required in global chat while private messages may use other languages. Hacked clients, unfair automation, exploit abuse, spawn manipulation, advertising, griefing, stealing, scamming, and insiding are prohibited. Large lag-causing farms may be removed. Claims must not overlap, and players should leave a 200-block buffer around other claims unless they have permission. Claims can be lost after more than 30 consecutive days offline. Players may have no more than seven villagers.
The store sells ranks, crate keys, Gems, Pokémon plushies, and other digital items. Ranks can include higher daily-reward tiers, prefixes, weekly kits, and convenience commands such as `/feed`, `/fly`, and `/healpokemon`. Crates can contain items, shiny or legendary Pokémon, claim blocks, and seasonal cosmetic reskins. Free players still receive daily, calendar, hunt, and voting rewards. Store payments are final and non-refundable.

History of CobbleGalaxy
CobbleGalaxy was publicly present by February 22, 2025, when the server appeared with its Cobblemon identity and the CobbleGalaxy name.
Its first published modpack files appeared in March and April 2025 for Fabric and Minecraft 1.21.1. The early release line centered on Cobblemon survival with a server-focused collection of Pokémon features.
By August 2025, the server had established its main identity: Pokémon collection, player gyms, tournaments, hunts, breeding, an economy, Pokédex rewards, riding, and battle-focused progression.
The modpack moved through Cobblemon 1.7 releases in November and December 2025. A further release arrived on February 5, 2026, keeping the project on Minecraft 1.21.1 and Fabric.
The summer of 2026 brought a new 2.x release line. Versions 2.1.0 and 2.2.0 followed in July and August, showing continued development of the dedicated CobbleGalaxy pack rather than a one-off server setup.
The server’s feature set also became more structured over time. Player gyms gained seasonal leadership, hunts gained levels and global objectives, and tools such as PokéBuilder, player warps, daily rewards, and rotating TM shops gave long-term collectors more to do.
Today, CobbleGalaxy is a large Java Cobblemon survival network built around collecting Pokémon, improving competitive teams, trading with other players, and taking part in community-run battles and events.
