About Roanoke Network
Roanoke Network is a Java survival server built on Cobblemon, a mod that adds Pokémon to Minecraft. You install the free Roanoke Cobblemon modpack, start at Spawn, then pick one of three survival worlds: Core with hunger and some monsters, Haven with no hunger or mobs, or Prime with lots of mobs. Chat is in English.
Your Pokémon and items go with you between worlds. You can chase hunts on a shared bounty board, beat boss Pokémon for Mega Stones, finish daily and weekly tasks, and trade on the GTS. Weekly tournaments and build contests give you extra goals.
What Makes It Different
You choose how hard survival feels by picking one of three linked worlds, from a peaceful one with no hunger to a hard one full of mobs, and keep your Pokémon in all of them.
The whole server is about catching, training and battling Pokémon with Cobblemon.
You join with the Roanoke Cobblemon modpack, a Fabric pack on Modrinth.
Players build, claim land and trade in shared survival worlds.
Three survival worlds with different difficulty, from peaceful Haven to hard Prime.
PokeDollars and Roanoke Tokens, earned from hunts, tasks, tournaments and trading.
You catch, train and battle Pokémon in a survival world where you keep your items when you die. Boss Pokémon can appear near you every so often; they are bigger, cannot be caught, and drop better rewards.
Spawn is a no-build hub with shops. Core, Haven and Prime are each 30,000 by 30,000 blocks, and you can warp between them or use random teleport to find a spot near spawn.
There are two kinds of money. PokeDollars come from hunts, tasks, selling Pokémon and trading. Roanoke Tokens are harder to get, come from tournaments, events and weekly tasks, and buy items like Legendary Poketickets and Shiny Boosts.
Weekly tournaments, build competitions and minigames run alongside normal play, and tournaments are one of the main ways to earn Roanoke Tokens.
Griefing gets you banned, so claim your builds to keep them safe. Problems and missing items are reported through a ticket.
Free to play with no pay-to-win. The store sells extras such as the Boss Boost, which makes boss Pokémon show up more often.
Griefing is bannable here, and you can claim your builds so other players cannot break them.
Boss Pokémon spawn near players, cannot be caught, and drop better rewards, including a Mega Stone when the boss can Mega Evolve.
You get five easy tasks that refresh every day, five harder weekly tasks and a permanent set with bigger rewards.
Weekly Pokémon battle tournaments against other players pay out Roanoke Tokens, the harder-to-earn server money.
The server keeps its store free of pay-to-win items, and the harder Roanoke Tokens cannot be passed between players.
You can list and buy Pokémon from other players through the GTS, and also sell Pokémon to the PokeBank NPC.
A shared board shows 21 Pokémon to catch in the wild, and the first player to catch one gets money and candy based on its rarity.
Build competitions run alongside the weekly tournaments and minigames as regular community events.
PokeDollars cover everyday buying and selling, while Roanoke Tokens buy Legendary Poketickets and Shiny Boosts.
