About Cobblemon Origins
Cobblemon Origins combines a modded Survival world with a full Pokémon adventure. You catch and breed teams, complete quests, hunt rare spawns, fight bosses, and build a protected home in a custom-generated world.
Battles are a major part of the server. Ranked 1v1 and 2v2 matches, player-run gyms, tournaments, raids, and legendary encounters give collectors and competitive players different ways to play.
What Makes It Different
Cobblemon Origins treats Pokémon battling as seriously as survival. You can spend one session building a house and the next preparing a ranked team, challenging a player gym, or joining a raid for a rare legendary.
Its progression also avoids making the server only about grinding stronger Pokémon. Breeding, quests, catch combos, boss fights, custom forms, and competitive formats give collectors and battlers different goals.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.

Ranked matchmaking supports 1v1 and 2v2 battles, including competitive and random battle tiers. Player-run gyms add a community-driven challenge path, while tournaments provide larger organized competitions.
Raids and world bosses are cooperative encounters rather than ordinary player fights, giving teams reasons to work together before returning to competitive battles.
The server uses a global trade system for Pokémon and items. Players can also take part in shiny auctions, sell unwanted Pokémon through PokéSell, and use the server shop for blocks and decorations.

History of Cobblemon Origins
Cobblemon Origins took shape during 2025 as a Java Fabric project built around a custom Cobblemon modpack. The early direction focused on performance, quality-of-life improvements, Pokémon collecting, and a survival world that could support both casual players and battlers.
By early 2026, the project had moved through a relaunch and reset. The new direction added a stronger medieval-fantasy RPG setting, custom origins, expanded terrain, and a broader collection of custom content around Cobblemon.
The relaunch grew beyond basic catching and battling. Breeding, daycare systems, daily quests, custom NPCs, land claims, player shops, PokéStops, world bosses, and raids became part of the regular survival loop.
Competitive play also became a central feature. Ranked matchmaking supports 1v1 and 2v2 formats, while player-run gyms and server tournaments give players ways to battle outside normal exploration.
Later updates expanded the collection goal with custom forms, additional mega evolutions, Pokémon skins, catch combos, Hidden Ability hunting, cosmetics, and seasonal rewards. The current server combines those systems with a Terralith-generated world, global trading, auctions, and shared loot mechanics.
