About Cobblemon Town
Cobblemon Town turns Minecraft survival into a shared Pokémon adventure. Catch and train Cobblemon, build a town with friends, explore new domains, and take on hunts, gyms, tournaments, and battle-tower challenges.
Expeditions add group PvE battles against raid bosses and attacking Pokémon. Custom Fakemon, legendary spawns, player trading, player shops, and trainer levels give collectors and battlers plenty to chase.
What Makes It Different
Cobblemon Town makes building a community part of the Pokémon journey. You are not only raising a team; you can help create a town where friends live, trade, and prepare for battles.
Its custom Fakemon and expedition battles also push it beyond a basic Cobblemon survival world. Exploration can lead to unusual Pokémon, group fights, and new goals for your team.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.
Cobblemon is the server’s defining gameplay system.
Modded Minecraft servers use game mods to add or change mechanics, content, or progression beyond the unmodified game.
Players use Cobblemon and related custom content through a Fabric-based setup.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server combines Pokémon gameplay with Minecraft survival, building, and exploration.
Start by catching, training, and breeding Cobblemon while gathering normal Minecraft resources. Build a home or join friends in a shared town.
Use hunts, expeditions, gyms, battle challenges, and new domains to give your team reasons to keep improving. Player shops and global trading help connect your collection to the wider server.
Trainer levels add a separate advancement path alongside Pokémon levels and normal Minecraft gear.
The Pokédex, hunts, legendary encounters, gyms, and tournaments create different goals. Collectors can focus on rare species, while battlers can work toward stronger teams and better tournament results.
Cobblemon Town includes server-specific Fakemon alongside its Cobblemon roster. The custom Pokémon material includes new species, abilities, moves, and special regional-style forms.
Alatian, Archelian, and radiation forms are among the named custom variants connected with the server’s collection and battle systems.
The server combines a shared survival world with additional domains and destinations. Paradox worlds and expedition areas add places to explore beyond ordinary resource gathering.
Towns give players a reason to build roads, homes, shops, and community spaces together instead of treating the world as a collection of isolated bases.
PvP is centered on organized Pokémon battles rather than unrestricted survival combat. Gyms provide trainer challenges, and monthly tournaments offer scheduled competitive play.
Tournament formats can change from month to month, including special rules for Fakemon tiers and team building.
Players can trade Pokémon and items through the global trading system. Player shops and warp locations support direct buying and selling between players.
The official store sells ranks, rank upgrades, gems, eggs, lootboxes, keys, bundles, tags, player warps, and gift cards. Joining the server itself is free.
Monthly tournaments are the main recurring competitive event. Players can register, prepare their teams, battle, or watch other trainers compete.
The event reward pool can include titles, rare Pokémon, in-game currency, and store-related rewards. Hunts, legendary spawns, and expedition encounters add other event-style activities.
The community is organized around shared towns, cooperative expeditions, trading, player shops, tournaments, and the official Discord.
Players who enjoy building with friends can make the town system their main focus. Competitive trainers, collectors, shiny hunters, and casual explorers can follow different paths through the same world.
Cobblemon Town has an official store with paid ranks, gems, keys, eggs, lootboxes, bundles, tags, player warps, gift cards, and rank upgrades.
Store purchases are optional for joining, but paid crates and other purchasable items are part of the server’s economy.

History of Cobblemon Town
Cobblemon Town was entering beta by January 31, 2026, after appearing publicly earlier that month. Its first identity centered on building towns with friends and combining everyday Minecraft survival with Cobblemon training.
The early feature set quickly grew beyond simple collecting. Expeditions, raid bosses, hunts, legendary spawns, gyms, tournaments, player shops, a global trading system, and trainer levels became central parts of the server’s adventure loop.
The project also developed a dedicated Java Fabric modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1. Its first 1.0.0 release established the starting package, while later releases updated Cobblemon content and added new menu features.
Custom Pokémon became a major part of the server’s identity. The available material expanded to include Fakemon, custom abilities, custom moves, and special forms such as Alatian, Archelian, and radiation variants.
Competitive play developed through monthly tournaments using rotating Pokémon battle formats. Players can register, prepare teams, fight other trainers, spectate matches, and compete for titles, rare Pokémon, currency, or store-related rewards.
By August 2026, Cobblemon Town had become a Java Cobblemon network focused on shared towns, collection, exploration, custom Pokémon, cooperative battles, and organized trainer competition.
