About CityRP
CityRP is a persistent city-roleplay world set in Azalea Isles, a player-run island nation. It is not a lineup of separate minigame servers. You arrive through a new-citizen tutorial, then choose how to live in the city: take a job, rent or buy property, build a home or business, operate a shop, travel by custom vehicle, or step into the criminal underworld.
Parliament, political parties, ministries, police, courts, zoning boards, tenders, and elections are active parts of city life. You can run for office, join public service, bring civil cases, influence laws, inspect property, or work around the law as a criminal. Combat has clear boundaries. Random killing is restricted in normal city play, while the wilderness, gang nodes, robberies, heists, and some trespassing situations create room for open conflict.
CityCorp ties the economy together through companies, banks, player shops, property ownership, commodity prices, and a live stock market. Plots are divided into residential, business, farm, industrial, and coastal property, giving builders and entrepreneurs a reason to care where they settle. Jobs combine trade work and quest-based tasks with longer-term professions, while custom vehicles, firearms, furniture, mobs, and industrial machinery push the server well beyond ordinary survival.
CityRP opened in May 2024, added its first custom items and public forums that month, and formed its first Parliament in June. Elections became a regular institution under the Constitution of Azalea Isles in late 2024. The following year brought the CityCorp business system, import and export mechanics, industrial production, revised firearms, and a rebuilt wiki. By August 2026, parliamentary by-elections, court cases, ministry tenders, property regulation, and political parties were still shaping the same shared nation.
Vehicles servers make controllable machines a central way for players to move through and interact with the Minecraft world.
Cars, bikes, planes, boats, garages, fuel, shared fleets, and vehicle upgrades are established city systems.
Roleplay is Minecraft gameplay where players act as characters in a shared fictional world and make choices from those characters’ perspectives.
Government, careers, crime, law, courts, elections, businesses, and persistent player stories define ordinary play.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Trade jobs, professions, public-service roles, and job-linked quests provide major ways to earn money and participate in the city.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, companies, banks, property, shops, commodities, imports, exports, and a stock market form a substantial economic game.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Players buy business plots and operate shops, restaurants, offices, newspapers, banks, and other services.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Azalea Isles, its property market, government record, businesses, laws, and player-built districts continue across sessions.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom firearms, vehicles, furniture, foods, industrial components, mobs, and resource-pack models directly shape play.
Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
The onboarding quest and job-linked quest systems introduce mechanics, provide rewards, and support everyday work.
Geopolitical servers organize Minecraft play around player-run states that claim territory, manage borders, and compete or cooperate for influence.
Azalea Isles interacts with fictional NPC nations through diplomacy, trade relations, ports, lore, and conflict.
Events are organized Minecraft activities that give players a distinct objective and rules for a particular occasion or limited period.
Elections, tenders, court proceedings, community games, and organized cultural activities create recurring server-wide activity.
A normal session starts with a practical goal rather than a minigame queue. You might finish a trade job, deliver goods, visit a shop, inspect a property, attend a political meeting, buy supplies for a business, or drive across the city to handle an appointment. The new-player tutorial introduces government, crime, economics, resource packs, and jobs before sending citizens toward the University and the wider city.
Longer sessions revolve around projects. Build a home or storefront, grow a company, manufacture goods, campaign for office, join a ministry, investigate a crime, defend a gang node, or arrange a deal with another business. The city remains useful between major roleplay scenes because property, transport, jobs, shops, and the stock market all create reasons to keep moving and trading.
Progression is mostly economic and social rather than a conventional level grind. New players earn starter money through the onboarding tutorial, take trade jobs or professions, complete work and quests, then use their income to secure better property, equipment, vehicles, companies, and services.
Property ownership is a major milestone. Residential plots support homes, business plots support shops and offices, farm plots support agriculture, and industrial plots support production. Companies and banks add a second layer of advancement through accounts, sub-accounts, transaction fees, employees, and investment. Vehicle upgrades improve speed, acceleration, fuel capacity, and handling, while custom weapons have durability that must be maintained.
Custom content is central to the server. Vehicles include cars, motorcycles, planes, boats, emergency vehicles, shared garages, fuel, cosmetic tuning, and paid performance upgrades. The vehicle system also connects to industrial manufacturing, where components and vouchers can be produced through the Minetorio system.
Combat uses a custom firearm catalogue with pistols, rifles, shotguns, machine guns, SMGs, and sniper weapons. Guns have distinct damage, recoil, bloom, ammunition behavior, and durability. The server also adds custom furniture, foods, fishing and farming content, pets, mobs, cameras, artwork, industrial machines, and a required resource pack for many models.
CityRP centers on one shared persistent setting, Azalea Isles, rather than separate selectable minigame worlds. The nation contains developed city districts, residential and commercial plots, farms, industrial areas, mines, wilderness, gang nodes, ports, government buildings, and public transport routes.
Plots are zoned and regulated, so a home, factory, farm, or business has a defined place in the city. Players can use buses, warps, homes, and custom vehicles to travel between districts, while the live map provides an external view of the built environment. The wider setting also includes fictional NPC nations that interact with Azalea Isles through diplomacy, trade, and lore-driven conflict.
PvP is part of the city, but it is not a free-for-all everywhere. Random deathmatching is prohibited unless a valid roleplay reason exists. Players may fight more freely in the wilderness and gang nodes, and robberies, bank heists, police-station heists, and some trespassing situations have specific combat allowances.
Crime creates pressure without turning every street into an arena. Criminal activity can lead to fines, prison, fugitive status, police intervention, and courtroom consequences. Custom firearms add recoil, bloom, weapon roles, durability, and repair considerations to conflicts, while gangs compete over contested locations.
Money moves through jobs, trade quests, player shops, companies, banks, property, industrial production, and investment. Players can buy or rent plots, open restaurants or stores, operate offices and services, create corporations, and establish banks with sub-accounts and configurable fees.
CityCorp tracks company activity, commodities, transactions, and stock-market values. Property auctions, rentals, tenders, grants, imports, exports, and government spending give the economy activity beyond simply selling mined items. The dashboard also exposes chest shops, corporations, property listings, market data, and government treasury information.
Recurring elections, parliamentary activity, government tenders, court proceedings, and community events give the shared world a changing schedule. CityRP has also run larger themed activities such as anniversary games with races, competitive challenges, and prizes.
Events and Culture roles exist inside the government, allowing players to organize activities rather than leaving every event to staff. Political campaigns, by-elections, public tenders, and lore interactions can become server-wide activities even when they begin as ordinary forum or in-game business.
The community is organized around institutions as much as informal friendship. Players join political parties, ministries, companies, banks, gangs, public-service departments, and legal teams. The forums contain active elections, laws, court cases, tenders, inspections, grants, and character profiles, giving roleplay a persistent written layer outside the game.
Players can also create their own businesses, newspapers, law firms, restaurants, shops, and services. Discord, the forums, the wiki, the dashboard, and in-game government structures all connect to the same city setting.
Rules are strictest where unrestricted behavior would damage roleplay or the economy. Random deathmatching, griefing, stealing, scamming, real-money trading, unapproved client modifications, bug exploitation, alternate accounts, automatic collection machines, and lag-inducing builds are restricted or punished.
Chat rules prohibit harassment, discriminatory conduct, adult content, unrelated advertising, and controversial real-world discussions. Players must report exploitable bugs, respect plot ownership, and avoid excessive entities or machines. Normal roleplay combat needs a valid reason, with specific exceptions for wilderness, gang nodes, robberies, heists, and trespassing.
The official store sells rank tiers with commands, cosmetics, and quality-of-life features. Cosmetic currency supports the server's gadgets and cosmetic systems, and some cosmetic currency can also be earned through voting. The available store presentation emphasizes convenience and appearance rather than listing combat equipment for sale.
