The server combines ordinary survival gathering with protected land, player-run diamond shops, a shared world that does not wipe, and optional PvP outside claims. Custom gear, voting, teams, and community building activities add longer-term goals without replacing the main building-focused survival experience.
What Makes It Different
ArchitectMC makes building the long-term center of a survival world without removing the possibility of danger. Claims remain PvP-safe, wilderness combat is opt-in, shops use diamonds rather than a separate money plugin, and voting expands both the available world and a player's claim capacity.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The current world does not wipe, allowing bases, shops, and community projects to remain over time.

Playtime ranks increase claim and chest-shop limits, while voting adds materials, expands the Overworld, Nether, and End borders, and can provide an extra permanent claim chunk. Custom armour sets and enchantments provide additional equipment goals. Teams can grow from three members to larger caps by meeting advancement and playtime requirements, with larger shared vaults at higher tiers.
The resource pack supports custom armour sets including Scuffite, Thunderstone, Dragon, Wither, Potato, and White, along with custom enchantments and interface menus such as `/enchants`, `/armor`, and `/ranks`. Reach is a notable tool enchantment on Java. Other current additions include death compasses, contract scrolls, character cards, custom paintings, shop labels, and team interfaces.
The main world is persistent and does not wipe. Players claim 16×16 chunks, leave a two-chunk gap from strangers, and use the live map to find open land. The world border expands through voting. The Nether is part of progression, while the End was still closed at the latest update.
Claims are always PvP-safe, and wilderness PvP is opt-in through `/pvp`. This is not a raiding-focused server. If another player kills you, your items drop normally, while deaths to mobs, lava, falls, or other world hazards create a private five-minute death chest instead.
Diamonds are the main currency. Players buy and sell through chest shops made with signs, and each rank allows more shops. The spawn market hall also provides one claimable shop stall per player. Voting supplies diamonds and building materials, while contract scrolls can pay in levels, Chronicle XP, and useful items.
Weekly Build gives players a practical survival-building theme such as a farm, storage room, trading hall, or house. Entries remain in the world and are voted on in game. Optional trivia runs during set UK hours, and the spawn contract board creates rotating delivery and task chains between players.
Discord is the main social and support hub. Players can create three-letter teams with private chat, shared vaults, team trust, and optional friendly fire. The website also includes a live map, scoreboard, player character cards, a reference wiki, and a spawn market hall.
The community rules require respectful behavior, no harassment or hate speech, no NSFW content, no spam or unauthorized promotion, and cooperation with staff. In the world, cheats, unfair clients, dupes, exploits, claim grief, theft, scams, and PvP abuse are prohibited. Players must respect claim boundaries and the required spacing from neighboring claims.
Most progression ranks are earned through playtime. OG and Ancient are listed as gift-based ranks, while Elite is the store rank. Rank benefits mainly increase claim and shop limits, and `/fly` is not available in survival.
Death chests preserve a defeated player's dropped belongings in a recoverable container after death.
Deaths caused by mobs, lava, falls, or other world hazards create private five-minute chests, while PvP deaths drop items normally.
Vote expansion links player voting activity to tangible server-world or personal progression benefits.
Completing four daily vote sites supplies materials, expands the world borders, and can award an additional permanent claim chunk.

History of ArchitectMC
By October 2021, ArchitectMC was operating as a semi-vanilla building server centered on improving construction skills and running building competitions through Discord. By May 2026, its direction had shifted toward a beginner-friendly survival world with protected building, trading, community events, and a more dangerous Nether-focused PvP experience.
During September 2026, the server added many of the systems that define its current form: death chests, a vote-driven expanding border, custom tool reach and armour sets, market stalls, team vaults, character cards, and contract scrolls. The world remained persistent throughout this newer survival-focused direction, while the End was still closed at the latest research date.
