About Vanilla High
Vanilla High keeps survival close to ordinary Minecraft while making long-term building the main reason to stay. KeepInventory reduces the cost of dangerous trips, while no-grief and no-raid rules let players develop bases and shared builds without turning the world into a raiding cycle. It is an established Java survival server rather than a minigame network.
What Makes It Different
The combination of strict no-grief and no-raid rules with KeepInventory changes the usual survival risk without replacing vanilla progression. Players can still face hostile mobs, terrain, and combat, but death does not wipe carried gear and finished builds are not treated as raid targets.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server is consistently presented as pure vanilla and retains ordinary Minecraft blocks, crafting, survival, and progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering, crafting, exploration, hostile-mob combat, gear development, farming, and base building form the central experience.
Ordinary vanilla survival remains the center: gather, craft, explore, build, and fight hostile mobs in a shared world. KeepInventory is enabled, fire spread is disabled, mob griefing remains enabled, and TPA is disabled.
Progress comes from standard Minecraft gear, bases, farms, exploration, and player-made building goals rather than a custom class or minigame progression system.
The world is built for long-term construction in customized survival terrain, with player bases and community builds protected by the server's no-grief and no-raid rules.
PvP is not the server's main focus. Unwarranted PvP is disallowed, and the no-raid rule keeps combat from becoming a base-destruction loop.
The server emphasizes a respectful, family-friendly atmosphere and places unusual importance on keeping player builds safe. Its small-world survival format suits players who prefer ongoing construction and cooperation over competitive network modes.
No griefing, raiding, hacks, cheats, duping, advertising, or spam. Players are expected to follow staff directions, and unwarranted PvP is not allowed.
Keep inventory preserves a player’s carried items after death, reducing the ordinary survival penalty for dying.
KeepInventory is enabled, so players retain carried gear and materials after dying during dangerous exploration or combat.
No-griefing rules restrict intentional destruction or disruption of other players' builds and possessions in a shared multiplayer world.
Griefing is prohibited, protecting long-term bases and community builds from deliberate player damage or unwanted alteration.
No-raiding rules prohibit players from attacking or looting other players’ bases and stored possessions.
Raiding is prohibited, so other players’ bases and stored resources are not treated as targets for organized attacks.
A play style centered on developing substantial bases, landscapes, or shared construction projects over an extended period.
Long-term bases, farms, and community builds are the server’s main reason to keep developing the shared survival world.
Restricted PvP limits player combat to designated areas or configurable locations rather than making the whole world freely hostile.
Unwarranted PvP is disallowed, keeping player combat from becoming the main survival or base-defense loop.
A server restriction that disables player-to-player teleport requests, requiring ordinary travel or other available transportation.
TPA is disabled, so players must travel through the shared world instead of requesting direct player-to-player teleports.
A world setting that stops fire from propagating between nearby flammable blocks after ignition.
Fire spread is disabled, reducing the chance that accidental or player-started fires damage survival builds.
