EnglishAbout True Vanilla
True Vanilla keeps survival close to unmodified Minecraft while removing many of the safety nets common on SMPs. Players gather resources, explore, build bases, and cooperate or compete in a Hard world with no /home, /tpa, /warp, or land-claim system. The Core world has continued since October 2024 without a reset, so distance, hidden locations, and player relationships shape everyday survival.
What Makes It Different
The server’s main difference is what it leaves out. There are no teleport commands or land claims, so bases must be reached and defended through ordinary Minecraft play. Griefing is allowed outside the protected spawn area, while PvP and raiding risks are controlled mainly by a short set of conduct rules.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server explicitly presents pure Minecraft survival with no gameplay-altering mods, datapacks, or plugins.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The Core world has continued since October 2024 without routine resets, preserving player-created changes.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The persistent multiplayer world centers on shared geography, player projects, cooperation, trade, and conflict.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, craft equipment, explore, build bases, farm, and survive hostile-world conditions.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
PvP is enabled without requiring consent, making player combat an ongoing survival risk.
Gameplay centers on ordinary Minecraft survival. Gather wood, food, and ores, craft equipment, travel away from spawn, establish a base, and explore the world for better resources. The server avoids gameplay-altering mods, datapacks, and plugins, keeping the survival loop recognizable to vanilla players.
Progress is self-directed rather than driven by a scripted server ladder. Players improve by securing better gear, expanding farms and bases, exploring farther, building with others, and learning how to protect valuable locations in a world without teleport or claim commands.
The server avoids custom gameplay systems that change survival mechanics. Its main additions are community-facing systems such as moderation, Discord activities, events, and optional supporter benefits rather than new blocks, classes, items, or scripted progression.
Core is a persistent survival world with Hard difficulty and a 100,000 by 100,000 world border, extending to roughly plus or minus 50,000 blocks. Spawn has special protection, but players moving beyond the protected area must rely on distance and secrecy to keep bases safe.
PvP is enabled and does not require consent. Griefing is allowed outside the protected area from -1024 to +1024 in each dimension, while combat logging, spawn killing, portal trapping, cheating, and actions that stop others from playing are prohibited.
The economy is player-driven. Items, resources, builds, and services gain value through what players gather, produce, trade, and choose to make available to the community rather than through a server-run progression shop.
Community activities are organized through Discord and have included build competitions near spawn. The server has also used community events and Discord activity rewards such as pips, which can be redeemed for optional VIP-style community benefits.
Discord is the main social hub for news, discussion, and player interaction, with the community guide describing more than a thousand members. Players can also use the official forums and wiki to share information, discuss builds, find teammates, and follow server changes.
Griefing is allowed except within the protected spawn-area coordinates and around End portal blocks. Players may not combat log, cheat, ban evade, damage the server, trap or prevent other players from joining, or use harassment, hate speech, doxxing, spam, or unrelated advertising.
The server is funded through donations and optional Ko-fi support rather than pay-to-win purchases. Supporter memberships provide community perks such as Discord roles, private discussion access, news, feedback channels, and other social benefits.
Unclaimed bases are player-built homes without automatic land protection, leaving security dependent on secrecy, distance, defenses, and community behavior.
True Vanilla has no land-claim system, so ordinary player bases beyond protected areas can be discovered, damaged, or looted.
A server restriction that requires players to travel manually instead of using commands that instantly return or move them.
True Vanilla provides no /home, /tpa, or /warp commands, so bases and distant locations must be reached through ordinary travel.
Open griefing permits players to damage or alter rival builds, making construction security and concealment important survival concerns.
Griefing is allowed outside the protected spawn region and around restricted End portal areas, subject to conduct rules.
A player-driven economy lets players create economic value through gathering, production, selling, purchasing, and exchange with one another.
True Vanilla’s economy depends on what players gather, produce, trade, and choose to make available to the community.
A designated spawn area where building, combat, or other disruptive player actions are restricted.
True Vanilla protects the spawn area within roughly -1024 to +1024 coordinates in each dimension from ordinary griefing.
Hard difficulty increases survival danger through tougher hostile encounters and more demanding consequences for mistakes during ordinary world play.
True Vanilla’s Core world runs on Hard difficulty, making ordinary exploration, combat, and survival more demanding.
No world resets preserve the same player-developed world over time instead of routinely replacing it with a newly generated map.
The Core world has operated continuously since October 2024 without a reset, retaining established bases, terrain changes, and community history.
