About TownifyMC
TownifyMC is a Java-only Towny survival server built around permanent settlements on a 1:300 Earth map. Pick a real place, claim land, grow a town, and work with other players toward a nation. Roads, trade routes, player warps, and a market world connect the map's communities.
The server adds jobs, quests, skills, ranks, daily rewards, custom mobs, dungeons, bosses, mounts, pets, cosmetics, furniture, and collectibles. Its economy is player-run, so shops and trading matter as much as mining or farming. Builds are intended to last, with no planned build resets.
What Makes It Different
TownifyMC puts Towny on a huge 1:300 Earth map. You are not just claiming random terrain; you are choosing a recognizable place and helping shape a shared world of towns, roads, nations, and trade.
The server also treats long-term building as a main feature. Towns are meant to remain part of the world, while custom quests, jobs, dungeons, mobs, and collectibles give players goals beyond construction.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.

Choose a location on the Earth map and establish a Towny settlement. Recruit residents, expand your claims, and connect with nearby towns through roads, trade, or diplomacy.
Resource worlds, player warps, and a market world make travel and gathering less dependent on one home area. Players can focus on building, trading, exploring, running a town, or supporting a larger nation.
Progression combines Towny growth with jobs, skills, quests, daily rewards, ranks, and server collectibles. Custom mobs, dungeons, and bosses add combat goals alongside normal survival work.
A player can progress as a builder, miner, farmer, trader, mayor, or explorer rather than following one fixed class path.
Custom content includes mobs, dungeons, bosses, mounts, pets, cosmetics, furniture, collectibles, quests, jobs, and skills. These systems add extra goals without replacing the Towny settlement gameplay.
The main world is a massive 1:300 Earth map with recognizable real-world locations. Roads, trade routes, player warps, and resource worlds help connect settlements and reduce travel friction.
The server is designed for long-term construction, with no planned build resets.
Towny wars, alliances, and rivalries give PvP a political angle. Conflict is connected to towns and nations, so diplomacy and preparation matter alongside gear and combat skill.
The economy is player-driven. Jobs provide a way to earn currency, while player shops and a dedicated market world support buying, selling, and trade between communities.
Community events, challenges, and contests are part of the server's activities, adding occasional goals beyond town building and economy play.
TownifyMC suits players who enjoy mayors, builders, traders, explorers, and nation-focused groups. You can join an existing town or gather residents and start a settlement with friends.
Town claims protect settlements, and damage rollback helps recover from griefing. Towny politics, rivalries, and wars still create risk outside protected building areas.
The official web store currently sells gems. Other store products are not included here.

History of TownifyMC
TownifyMC was running by August 18, 2024, already centered on Towny survival and community building. Its early feature set included custom terrain, jobs, an economy, ranks, and MCMMO skills.
The first documented version also connected the world to a Dynmap, giving players a way to view settlements and the wider territory outside the game. Events, challenges, and contests were part of the server's community activity.
By June 2026, TownifyMC was operating as a long-term Towny world focused on towns, nations, alliances, player shops, exploration, and progression. The emphasis had shifted toward keeping player projects meaningful over time instead of cycling through frequent resets.
During summer 2026, the server's world used a massive 1:300 Earth map. Players could choose recognizable locations, establish settlements, recruit residents, and build political or trading relationships around them.
The wider infrastructure included roads, trade routes, resource worlds, player warps, and a dedicated market world. These systems gave towns more ways to connect and gave traders space to operate beyond their own claims.
The modern server combines that geographic Towny foundation with quests, jobs, ranks, custom mobs, dungeons, bosses, pets, mounts, cosmetics, furniture, and other collectible content. TownifyMC now offers a long-term Earth-building experience with room for peaceful cities, trading networks, rival nations, and large community projects.
