About SquigCraft SMP
SquigCraft is a survival SMP where normal Minecraft activities feed into a larger community economy. Jobs, quests, mining, farming, fishing, player shops, and auctions give players several ways to earn and spend in-game money.
Land claims protect builds, teams make large projects easier, and custom items add goals beyond standard vanilla loot. Weekly events and server-wide challenges reward participation, while shared goals can unlock server boosters or expand the world border.
What Makes It Different
SquigCraft makes individual progress matter to the whole server. Mining, farming, fishing, jobs, quests, and boss fights can feed shared goals that unlock server-wide boosts or permanently expand the world border.
Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
Quests are repeatedly included as a core progression activity.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected land is a central building and multiplayer feature.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is built around a shared multiplayer survival world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server's central game mode.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, trading, player shops, auctions, and activity-based earnings are major systems.
The main game is survival with several ways to stay busy. Players can work jobs, complete quests, trade through shops and auctions, join teams, protect land, and take part in server-wide challenges. Events add short-term targets without replacing the main survival world.
Progress comes from earning money through jobs and activities, improving your base, collecting custom items, completing quests, and taking part in events. Long-term players also have shared server goals that can unlock benefits for everyone.
Custom items add extra collection and progression goals beyond standard Minecraft loot. The server's custom content is designed to be obtainable through gameplay rather than requiring every item to come from the store.
The survival world supports large builds and community projects. Players can work toward permanent world-border expansion, while shared goals can unlock boosters that benefit the whole server.
PvP is part of the server alongside its PvE survival gameplay. Teams, land claims, trading, and building remain important, so combat is one part of a broader survival experience rather than the entire game.
The economy is built around player activity and trading. Jobs, quests, mining, farming, fishing, player shops, and auctions all provide ways to earn money or find useful goods.
Weekly events include competitions and server-wide challenges based on activities such as building, mining, fishing, and farming. Participants can receive rewards, with additional prizes for the top performers.
Players can form teams, build together, trade through the community economy, and join the Discord community. The server also puts regular events and shared goals at the center of its social play.
Cheating, exploiting, and rude behavior are not allowed.
The official store sells one-time VIP, PRO, and MVP ranks. The listed prices are $4.99, $9.99, and $19.99, and store payments are treated as final under the posted refund policy.

History of SquigCraft SMP
SquigCraft traces its roots to 2020, when it focused on semi-vanilla survival with a small set of convenience features for playing with friends. The project emphasized survival freedom rather than a large minigame network.
By late 2024, SquigCraft had grown around a broader survival package featuring jobs, quests, events, community trading, land protection, and a large collection of custom items. The older public connection used play.squigcraft.com.
In 2025, the project presented itself as SquigCraft Network. Survival remained the main focus, with lightweight plugins, basic teleport tools, homes, and a friendly community. Skyblock was planned as a possible additional mode during that period.
During 2026, the active connection moved to play.squigcraft.net. The server's feature set expanded around land claims, teams, Bedrock access, weekly competitions, server-wide challenges, and shared rewards.
SquigCraft now combines survival building with a player-driven economy and community progression. Players can contribute through ordinary activities, compete in events, trade with one another, and help unlock improvements that affect the wider server.
