SolarityMC uses custom items and server-specific generator mechanics, with custom plugins supporting parts of its gameplay and utility systems. Crates, voting rewards and other server-specific additions sit alongside the main Gens SMP progression.

The SMP side provides a shared survival-style setting around the generator and PvP systems. Its public descriptions emphasize cooperative and competitive multiplayer progression rather than a standalone minigame lobby.
