History of OBlockSMP
OBlockSMP was registered on March 6, 2026 under the GREENCHASERS account. Its first recorded identity was a Survival SMP focused on ordinary Minecraft progression.
During spring 2026, the server expanded beyond basic survival into a broader mix of economy, PvP, and raiding. These elements gave players more ways to compete and interact while keeping survival at the center.
Crossplay became part of the network's identity as OBlockSMP supported both Java and Bedrock players. This connected players across the two editions within the same server network.
Crystal PvP then emerged as the server's defining combat focus. End Crystals made fights faster and more demanding, creating a deeper skill ceiling than standard survival combat.
The server's gameplay developed around the tension between progression and conflict. Gathering resources and building remained important, while trading, PvP, and raids added continuing risks to survival.
