What Makes It Different

Classes let players choose a defined gameplay role that changes how they approach combat, exploration, survival, or teamwork.
References to 'Available Classes' and class selection in character creation guides confirm classes are fundamental to the D&D integration.
Medieval servers place Minecraft play in a period-inspired world where castles, villages, farms, roads, and trade shape what players build and pursue.

Players create detailed characters with D&D 5e races and classes, then engage in persistent world roleplay through civilian job progression, downtime activities like crafting and farming, exploration of a custom map, and participation in DM-run events and storylines - all while building homes, establishing shops, and advancing from Civilian to Adventurer status.
Character progression begins as a Civilian gaining XP from login and events, unlocking new job titles every 4 levels before specializing at level 12 in paths like Apprentice or Cook. To become an Adventurer, players complete roleplay-based training with a higher-level teacher, gaining access to combat, magic, and dangerous situations while retaining their Civilian level and job progress.
RPDND offers extensive custom content including a race plugin with perks like flying and teleporting, a detailed civilian job system with specialization paths, mounted combat rules based on mount size, character cards tracking XP and level, economy plugins for virtual and physical coins, GPS navigation, roleplay locator/queue, guilds, Figura model modification, and cosmetic loretexting for items.
The server features a large custom painted persistent world with caves, dungeons, cities, and diverse biomes where players can establish homes and shops through the rent system. Key locations like the Tavern, Mayor's House, and Association Building serve as trackable points for GPS navigation, while the world's continuity ensures your creations and story endure between sessions.
Combat in RPDND is primarily consensual and event-based, featuring jousting, dueling, and DM-run encounters where players test builds and skills. Funds can pay rent, purchase items, or transfer to other players, with physical coins available at the bank and an Auction House for player-run sales.
