About Roleplay Hub
Roleplay Hub is best known for SchoolRP, a detailed roleplay world set in Karakura, Japan. Players create characters, attend school, make friends, join clubs and take part in stories across the city.
School life is only the beginning. Characters can grow into college students or adults, work in shops and public services, rent homes, join sports teams, investigate crime and build their own place in Karakura. Custom vehicles, furniture, phones and a large resource pack make the world feel far more like a living town than a normal Minecraft map.
What Makes It Different
SchoolRP turns ordinary Minecraft routines into a character's daily life. You can go to class in the morning, work a job later, meet friends in town and become part of a larger story.
The server also lets players grow with their characters. A student can eventually become a teacher, officer, reporter, business owner or another adult role instead of starting over in a new game mode.
Roleplay is Minecraft gameplay where players act as characters in a shared fictional world and make choices from those characters’ perspectives.
Roleplay is the defining purpose of the network and its SchoolRP world.
Start in the tutorial, create a character name and description, then use emotes and roleplay commands to interact with other players. The main setting follows a school timetable, with classes, lunch and time outside school grounds.
Players can join classes through in-game prompts, visit public buildings, attend clubs, work in shops and take part in stories created by factions or other players.
Characters normally begin in Grade 7 at age 13 and advance through Grade 12 as they play. School progression can continue into college through examinations and education requirements.
After graduation, players can apply for adult paths and faction roles. These include teaching, police, hospital, news, business and criminal positions, depending on the available role and its requirements.
SchoolRP uses a large custom resource pack with models for furniture, phones, vehicles, food, clothing, tools and roleplay items. Custom furniture can be used to decorate apartments and other interiors.
The server also includes custom systems for phones, vehicles, sports, character attributes and other city activities. Some custom items are obtained through the store or in-game systems.
The main world is Karakura, a fictional Japanese city built around Karakura High School and College. It includes residential districts, apartments, shops, a hospital, police facilities, a shrine, a beach, forests, sports fields, entertainment venues and business areas.
The city is designed for movement and social encounters. School life forms the center, but many stories continue in homes, workplaces, public buildings and quieter areas outside town.
Combat is part of roleplay rather than the main purpose of the server. Karakura has safer areas and more dangerous areas, with special restrictions around the school and shrine.
Crime stories can involve chases, gangs, police work and black-market items. Players need to follow the combat rules for the area and situation instead of treating the city like an open PvP arena.
The main currency is yen. Students receive regular allowances based on their grade, while fishing and player-run shop work provide other ways to earn money.
Characters can spend yen on food, clothing, housing, vehicles, custom items and other parts of daily life. Many jobs are tied to factions or player-run businesses and may require an application.
Events are built around school life, sports, festivals, clubs, public factions and city stories. The event and lore teams support larger activities, while players can also create their own roleplay events and group storylines.
Sports such as football and baseball have dedicated plugins with team play and custom game rules.
The community is built around in-game roleplay, a large forum, character applications, faction groups, lore writing and player-run businesses. Players can join clubs, sports teams, shops, public services and criminal organizations.
The server suits people who enjoy returning to the same world and developing relationships over time. New players have a tutorial and help channels, but the number of systems can take time to learn.
Players are expected to read the roleplay rules before joining serious scenes. Hacking and unauthorized mods are prohibited, and erotic roleplay is not allowed.
Combat rules change by location. The school and shrine have special safety restrictions, while crime scenes and other city areas follow separate roleplay and combat limits.
The official store sells ranks, rank upgrades, cosmetics, profile decorations, gesture packs, cosmetic items and custom roleplay items.
Ranks include convenience features such as profile options, extra slots, chat features, priority queue access and other server perks. Custom vehicles, furniture and items can also be purchased through the store.

History of Roleplay Hub
SchoolRP was running by 2015, when its world was built around earlier school settings and simpler social roleplay. Furness Academy and later Taketatsu City formed the first major eras of the server, giving players classrooms, student groups and early city stories.
Karakura City was introduced on November 4, 2017. It expanded the idea into a much larger Japanese setting with a high school and college, homes, shops, public services, sports grounds and recreational areas. The city became the long-term home of the server.
As Karakura grew, SchoolRP added systems that gave characters a longer life. Players could move through school grades, attend classes, take examinations, continue into college and later apply for adult roles. Police, hospital, teaching, news, business and criminal storylines gave players more ways to shape a character after school.
Roleplay Hub broadened its network in 2020 with Creative Plots and FantasyRP. Creative Plots gave players space to build their own smaller roleplay settings, while FantasyRP placed players in the custom fantasy world of Enarion, with kingdoms, races, magic and large political conflicts.
The network also experimented with Java-and-Bedrock access during 2020. That cross-platform phase did not remain part of the current service; present joining guidance requires Minecraft Java Edition.
SchoolRP continued adding city systems through the early 2020s. Housing, apartments, custom vehicles, working phones, sports plugins, faction jobs and new public areas made daily life more structured. Business Park, new apartments, entertainment venues and phone applications gave characters more places to meet and more reasons to leave the school grounds.
By 2025, updates were still reshaping Karakura. The former shopping district became Shōtengai, adding a larger commercial area with new shops and refreshed city activity. The network now remains centered on SchoolRP, where school progression, city jobs, public factions, custom roleplay tools and player-created stories define the experience.
